Seriously, Gao Jie has a heart of gold. She still thinks to ask her aunt not to do anything bad to those who have hurt her. FINALLY her aunt has helped her out for once! Gao Jie is a better woman than me. She may not want to see these people but she still doesn't want to hurt them. It just burns my briskets that she was the proverbial whipping boy for everything that went wrong and was accused of all dirty deeds and using her charms to get ahead and everything else under the sun. She is the complete opposite of these vipers and grifters but that doesn't stop them from adding to the rumor mill. Jees, guilty conscience? Yu Zhi is finally investigating. A little too late! This poor lady was dumped in the gutter hard and knowing she has a sick mom and not finding work easily, she is still humiliated, bullied, and harassed. Zhi is lucky she didn't get pregnant on that night before the engagement. Imagine harassing your pregnant ex fiancee that's just trying to work to pay her bills and take care of a sick mom! Her gramps must be rolling in his grave.! That is disgraceful. I doubt she would have told him anyway. What good would it do?

These dramas are proof of fake feelings and impractical fantasies. Why are so many ppl,especially females so beguiled by these stupid dramas? For me they're no different to the American television soap operas,predictable and boring. Sadly all these Asian dramas are exactly the same. At first I believed in the pureness of the Asian values lmfao Yeah.... Nah fake fake fake. Predictable....Boring

@@blakpearl8855 unfortunately i've met people like these characters..the good..the bad..and the dumb. Some are even in my family. All I can say that is it's better to watch it on the screen than real life. I'll never run for public/govt office for all the skeletons in my family's closets, but they make me look good. I stay away from their drama.

My thoughts exactly, as I commented before. After that spectacular show of so publicly humiliating her and dragging her off the stage like a rag doll and further humiliating her after that scene, all of a sudden, an epiphany occurred just because he heard her talk to his grandmother about losing the ability to design anymore. What a guy!!!! The investigation is a little too late, in my opinion.

The premeditation of the humiliation and devastation was what really got me too. He set her up so hard it was beyond cruel. It was downright sadistic. Like, turns out this guy is really, really twisted. Why do I want to watch a show where she's so self abasing that she takes him back. Like, who writes that dreck.
