  • A nice visitor to Prestwick airport on the 21/06/2023 in the form of a Boeing 707 (Reg: 272) of the Israeli Air Force. The aircraft retains engines that produce a distinctive and unmistakeable sound that only 707 can produce. The Boeing 707 is a relatively rare sight these days with not many still left flying. The aircraft arrived at Prestwick on the 21st June and is expected to overnight before departing sometime early on the 22nd.

Israel is a developed country and the Israeli air force can fly any type of aircraft they would like yet they have kept the 707 flying in immaculate condition.
That proves that the 707 still has allot to offer in 2023.
What was good back then, is good today and will continue to be good in the future.
    Bravo Israeli air force!!!

It's a converted refueling tanker, scheduled to be replaced long ago.
