Beautiful car my cousin has a 1950 that was his high school car in 1980-84 He kept it all these years his nephew got old enough to have his own body shop and he has him rebuilding his car from the ground up with mostly everything NEW everything was already pretty much done not sure what he's doing to it just new paint things you can't even see.
Cracked manifold? Burned exhaust valve? Otherwise, beautiful. My grandpa had one. Same color and interior. I loved the vertical radio with those big "ice cube" buttons. I can just smell Grandpa's cigar. Thanks for posting.

49's still had solid lifters. Somebody's missed their appointed valve lash adjustment period more than once.
I Sold the car many years ago the issue was just a stuck valve marvelous mystery oil took care of it!

LOOKS great, with excellent paint color, chrome, & glass.... but doesn't sound great.
