I think this is a really fine production, every sound is chosen for a reason and the trance bassline & melody fits nicely with the big room synths, buildup and drop. The whole song is so interesting. Only the biggest producers can pull off such a song.

Just like Pedro said Armin was once quoted saying "Don't be a prisoner of your own style." Diversity and change isn't a bad thing. It happens, embrace it. And if you say this doesn't draw anything from Trance music you are obviously deaf. No this isn't a traditional trance track, but it shows his depth as an artist.

I must admit...3 years ago i didn't liked this track because i saw trance was going in wrong direction...but now , i think i would be happy if such trance like in this track would go back , instead of so many BIG ROOMISH TRANCE TRACKS ( yeah i know this track is also big-roomish , but it's way different than modern trance now :/ )
