2022 Otis GeN2 Life again perfect levelling but painful door delay

Nothing new with most GeN2s and this brand new one is no different it is really such a shame most can’t open the doors soon as it’s hit the floor the long delay is unnecessary.

Very nice. I love the new call stations. The delay is caused by the lift ensuring it is precisely levelled after levelling which is why you can still hear the drive running after it finishes levelling. OTIS love precise levelling lol.

The precise levelling I think is a real gimmick, a TK maxx has a Gen2 with that system.

Not that bad of a delay, I've seen many new KONE KCEs with nearly double that time

I saw one from 2021 which was similar and is also the same with levelling.
I saw one from 2017 and it had fast levelling and a bit of ADO so maybe it's a question for the shop.
