Madam same exact thing happened with me, I got my wisdom tooth removed because it had got infected, the tooth was protruding the muscle opening. The dentist was a senior PG dentist and even though I doubted and asked for some experienced professor instead, she told that, she has done teeth extracting almost on a daily basis. She convinced that she is competent enough and then she performed the extraction and guess what? Same things which you faced and over that my left side of the tougue near extraction underwent parathesia and numbness, I think she has punctured lingual nerve while injecting anaesthesia. Till today, I haven't been able to get my speech back properly and i would say only 15 % improvement is there, even after 3 years of extraction, I also have B12 deficiency and that's also contributing to it. Can you help me in recovering my tongue..?

Namaste! I can suggest the following course of action, which you probably might have already done:
      - consult multiple (atleast 4 different) dentists. Ideally, recommended senior specialists. And see what they are saying... Whether any treatment recommendations.
      - then consult alternative healers like Ayurveda professionals, homeopathy, naturopathy - whatever stream. But again ensure recommended, senior, authentic experts - this is v important
      - read up as much as you can about these things, other people's cases (I guess that's how you landed up here)
      - take up some meditation practice.. anything simple.. even just doing anulom vilom for a 15-20 minutes will help calm you. And pay higher attention to your problem.. often times it is with our own acumen that we are able to get half the solution - and then we have to take experts help. So, one of the things I did and still doing is paying a lot of attention to any triggers aggravating the situation / improving the situation - and then making necessary changes.
That's all I can say! All the best in your search for a solution!
