    I have dealt with CEOs for half of my 50-year career. Part of the reason you don't see that kind of CEO is that very few employees are willing to take the first step and write to the CEO.

      That's a very good point. If middle management keeps them away from everyone - how do they even know what the rest of the company is thinking?

      @@businessgrowtharchitect Visualize an organization chart. Every level, from the bottom to the CEO, is an information filter, each with its own agenda. That’s what the employees see and exactly what HR must deal with when selecting the survey questions to ask. The questions are of little importance; they really don’t matter without a process that cancels the filters. That’s the hard part.
