Do not fret about spending the $$$ on the MLI Picatinny Rail. It's the cherry on top...and that arrow!!! I have it, an A2 fixed stock and an Aimpoint PRO up top. The gun will connect. I refuse to change the foregrip. It's easy to use and it gives the MP5 it's look. Next: Dead Air Wolfman.
I know I am late to this video party but I just received my MP5 clone, a MAC 5, a week ago. Now I installed a handguard setup with MLOK it is a Leapers UTG Pro M-Lok Handguard MP5. I had some problems in that the MLOK light/laser did fit the MLOK spacing so I had to use a weaver rail and mount it that way. Otherwise it is great. You get a weaver rail for lights. There is a slot cut on the top so I can see the SN. The cut for the charging handle is rounded so you do cut you hand with the "slap". It does change the lines of the MP5 but gives it a more modern look.
@@swoldiertactical2343 I debated the classic look myself. Now my MAC 5 has a non classic foregrip and thought of changing to the one you use. But wanted a taclight and a 45 degree angle grip.
Being a boomer, I like (and own) the OEM handguard and HK fixed stock…but the great thing about this platform is you can make it what you like! One suggestion…if you like classics like the MP5, consider the Steyr AUG for your next purchase.
You MAY need to be careful about your new Stock. Since this is sold/listed as a "Stock" and Not a "Brace", you may need to register as an SBR. I have mine registered as an SBR , with an original HK A3 stock. I have the Midwest Industries MLok fore end , which is great , but it depends on if you are interested in adding light/laser or vertical foregrip(SBR only)... or if you want to keep the Classic look
DEFINITELY need to get the Form 1 stamp. Having the stock merely in your possession is illegal....for some reason. Such laws are dumb, but play the game and get all your ducks in a row. Being a "good boy" comes with perks, such as these.
@@williamb2125its not illegal to just have the stock but the ATF is dumb by automatically assuming you will install it unless its stored separately. shouldn’t be an issue anyways since nfa is an infringement anyways
i bought the Magpul hand guard and its neat and i would say worth the price but adding attachements to it kinda make the grip weird unless you use an vfg or handstop for pistols. I hear the Midwest Industries mlok is good since it has the offset 45 degree slots too rather than just the 90 degree ones on the side and bottom
How long did your form 1 take?
I eFormed mine, approved within a week or so.
@@williamb2125 mine did too. Literally 7 days.
I.just ordered mine and wanna do a form 1 was it difficult gonna use the silencer shop kiosk
@@ryanjacobsen9557 I did a form 1 on my SP5 through silencershop. An extra $50 but it was done in 15ish minutes and it cleared in 7 days.
We now have maybe a dozen Title I copies/clones of the MP5?
What a time to be alive!

Bud, I received an alert for the SPK sale and the temptation hit me hard. 😂🤣

I’ve debated changing out my hand guard. Love the classic look but a modern upgrade would be nice.

$60 optic and a $275 mount. We’ve all been there. 😊
It was actually a free optic. 😂 So a free optic, a $300 mount and a $2500 firearm but who is counting? 👊🏾
How long did it take to get the tax stamp after you filed?
Tax stamp.for what?
Because once you put on the stock it became a SBR.
Tax stamps are fast right now last one I got was 2 weeks.
Cool upgrades Regie!
Thank you.
Love it! Hope to get mine this week!
Yeah buddy! Good luck.
That's exactly how I want to set mine up. I have been going back and forth on sight height though
Scalarworks 1.42 leap with t2 .. f'n awesome
HK Parts RMR mount with holosun 407/507, if you get the notched rear sight drum, very nice co-witness..
Where did you get your HK mount at? I’m looking for one.
Do a Google search and you should be able to find several suppliers.
Hkparts
I'd highly recommend a Lee Sporting trigger group.
Atlantic firearms has the retractable stock you might want from MKE (Turkey). $280.00. Mine seems high quality.
I have the HK sp5k and put the B&T collapsible stock. It was expensive but also compact.
Check into Lee Sporting Aluminum Lower with AR trigger, lowers trigger pull & can use AR hand grips.

Gotta look up the Steyr AUG.
I’m looking at Midwest Industries for mlok to attach a flashlight.. better than taping a Maglite 😀
Sick! Now get a can. It’s just money but it’s fun.
Can was ordered 3 days ago. 😂🤣 Let’s go!
@@swoldiertactical2343 don’t leave me hanging! Whichone?
CGS Mod-9SK.
LMAO. Hey ATF, look at my SBR.
You should look into the various legal cases and who has injunctions against the ATF’s unlawful rule. 😂🤣👊🏾
B&T handguard is a must
Is that what you run on your SP5?
yes@@swoldiertactical2343

Pathetic. 🤷🏾♂️😂

Why are you sorry?
