This was the largest air crash since 2001. The most sinister thing today is that in 2001 the death tolls were attributed to malice, the death tolls today are attributed to incompetence. We can’t lower the standards for pilots, generals, air traffic control staff, leaders, anyone.

    • @Russiaisscum-j5p

Nobody’s lowering any standards for pilots and ATC staff. It takes a long time to train them for one and two there’s been a staff shortage for a very long time now.
More ATC employees are retiring than getting hired.
This may have been caused by a controller at DCA handling too many responsibilities at once due to being understaffed.

The lack of safety controls and procedures caused by sudden loss of staffing in a Department have made this possible, not the type of people making up that staff. You have no idea of how to select specialized and complex trained staff for roles, so stop pontificating about DEI as a causal issue.
Without DEI you will get a dumbed down, incompetent staff that has only one trait to make them employable; loyalty to one person, not competent and able to complete the tasks set to them. When confronting a complex issue, there can be more than one answer to a problem.

Two biggies, the copter had no ADSB data going out, and that's why you can't see it on radar aps. That ADSB data would have made that jet scream at its pilot to go around automatically, and they would have. The second thing is controllers had too much faith in the helicopter seeing the jet traffic and trusting that they would pass behind it. It could be that they got used to letting people do this, and it works most of the time -I don't know about their policies there. This looks like a simple misunderstanding that turned into a disaster. Trump was not a DEI hire, and he's still a moron.

flew Flight Sim this morning, albeit in a 747. It is is almost impossible to change from Flight Path 10 to heading 330 runway without drastic right turn, at least 7 miles out. ATC had no business approving the change request. The correct response: negative, stay on course, cleared to land runway 1.

Why I quit flying? Obese, gross TSA and all the DEI hires that affected the quality of flying. It was obvious. The airport hires declined in quality.

Haven't had a passenger plane crash in 16 years. Ten days in and the orange menace has fired top staff, created chaos, hired an inexperienced SecDef who's helicopter took down a passenger plane. 47 has no idea what he's doing.

We have had passenger planes crash, 2024 was the deadliest year for plane crashes since 2018. Under Biden, wheels fell off planes, doors got sucked out of planes, people breeched airport security and stowed away in wheel wells getting killed, people got sucked into jet engines, one lady flew to France as a stowaway. Training flights are planned a few weeks to months before the training flight takes place, so this was planned during the Biden administration. It's not something that's just decided that day. So quick to blame Trump for everything when it was planned under the previous administration. 46 had no idea, of anything, he was mentally incompetent. A special prosecutor said that in a report.

i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.

one night i was scrolling through my phone, feeling like i’d never figure out why some people just seem so magnetic. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and something about it caught my attention. reading it was like turning on a light in a dark room. it’s not about pretending to be someone you’re not; it’s about unlocking the energy you already have. trust me, this book is worth every page

i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.
