How are they related to our National Hero, Dr. José P. Rizal?
Genealogist Mona Magno-Veluz aka @MightyMagulang discusses the Rizal family tree.
😮ahhh! That’s POWER!
I can listen to Mighty Magulang for hours. Very eloquent. More contents like this please.
I agree also. This is the videos that are worth watching.
Thank you for reminding us how courageous, tenacious and glorious our forefathers and mothers were. I sincerely hope that the new generation would be more interested and engaged in learning and passing on our nation's great history to the next generation and beyond.
Thank you po Mam Mona and Ayala Foundation.
Thank you somuch ma'am for this enlightening heritage of the family rizal I'm honored to be a filipina residing now here in belgium I'll always love my motherland for as long as I live ❤️ 😀 💕 😊 💙
Mona, Pascual H. Poblete is my great grandfather. He was born in 1857, 100 years before me.
Thank you so much, Ma'am Mona. You're such a great storyteller. I finally found your video and learned a lot about Dr. Jose Rizal's family. I'm truly amazed by you, Ma'am Mona. To think you memorized everything about Dr. Jose Rizal's family, I can only say "Wow! You're amazing."
13:23 the hearth of studying family history is just not about tracing grandparents.tracing family roots back through generations can helps us connect more deeply with the generations before ours..🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much, Miss Mona. ❤
Thanks for this history ,I learn a lot .
Grabe napakahusay!
This is a concise but profoundly informative transcript about the late Dr.Jose Rizal, the National Hero of the Philippines.
There were multiple informative materials that were unavailable during the collegiate Rizal course that I hope are now fully integrated to a revised and enriched Rizalian course.
A comprehensive
study about the National Hero is a necessity to a country where globalism, modernism and a disregard of culture, history and national identity are consciously encouraged .
A comprehensive knowledge about the country’s national heroes is essential for the promotion of a just, responsible, patriotic, loyal and caring citizen who can serve the nation well especially in moments of crisis, conflicts and great distress.
Jose Rizal 👏👏👏
Happy to hear stories like this
I love this lady.
Thank you for this highly informative and interesting content. Just wanted to share re: 9:52-9:55, Delfina Herbosa Natividad and Gen. Jose Salvador Natividad only had 1 child (Paz,) who tragically died very young. Lorenza, whom you claimed was Delfina's daughter/Rizal's great niece and helped sew the flag, must be associated with/from the Agoncillo family.
Its nice learning Philippine history. Very informative. Thanks to Mighty Magulang Ms. Veluz
Brilliant ! from AucklandNZ

One of my favorite content creator
Yes po, me too is a follower 😊
Thank you for this video. Just a slight correction: Teodora Alonso was suspected of poisoning her sister-in-law and not half brother.
Sino pong sister n law?
Thank you for this. I really learned a lot about the Rizal family
Love this!
How about the rumor that Soledad, the youngest, was the daughter of Saturnina, the eldest sister to Jose Alberto Alonzo, the half brother of Teodora Alonzo?
this was informative love what you guys are doing specially tomnus younger generations!
Wonderful
This was a great information I just found out. Been reading stories about this great person but for some reason there was no complete information about him. Thank you so much and I gain more knowledge about him. More power to you.
Wow some surnames are familiar to us actually some of them are from rich and prestige families here in the Philippines.
Correction: Teodora Alonso was suspected of poisoning her sister-in-law and not half brother. This is when the sister-in-law ask her dog to eat the Mirienda served by Teodora and eventually her dog died afterwards.
Austin Craig book about Rizal And one other book from other historian tell about the this.
@@RomilCastrodes now, to everyone who loves history and geeks out there, we can say that History can be revised, but cannot be Distorted. 🙌🏼
@@justinetamonte6750it was not distorted absolutely not it came from facts and research. Craig David is Rizal scholar.
I was abour to comment too after hearing it
henyo grabe
Hehe.
I hope there be more tik-tokers or influencer like you Mam Mona.
Professor Ambeth Ocampo an Historian, writer. interesting din yong mga story nya about Rizal by research at iba pang heroes ng Pilipinas.
I would also like, to know my family geneology. Is there away?
Does Jose Rizal know about Tlaxcaltecs ancestor?
Esperanza Limjap was the second wife of Sergio Osmeña. Osmeña's first wife was Estefania Chiong-Veloso.
Great mind knowing genealogy of Rizal .... our national hero...Filipinos shd have realized the tyranny of the Spaniards..and what Rizal had really fought for....we lost our lands as real Filipinos...we are left owning only few of our own lands Bec the Spaniards created titling of lands which they orchestrated to name for themselves since the time they conquered us...
He is not our national hero. Their is no proclamation about that, however he is a hero.
Gusto ko maging teacher ito 😂
🙂❤️🙏💐
I would love to know kung saang descendants galing ang mga Rizal of today's generation from Calamba.
Ang ancestor ni Rizal ay may dugong Chinese na nagtravel sa Pilipinas.i missed his name.He owned huge tracts of land in Binan, maybe Mighty Magulang can trace this Chinese ancestor of Jose Rizal in another vlog...ex ofw nurse irene
i dont know how were connected
wish churches would digitized their census records spanish era so that it is searcheable online
The current Mayor of Calamba City, Jose Rizal's birthplace, is Roseller H. Rizal. How is he actually related to Jose Rizal's family?
hii how did you know the surnames associated po to them?
2nd wife of pres. Osmena is limjap..the 1st wife is from chiong veloso
Since Paciano never married, to whom he had his natural daughter Emiliana? whose the mother of Emiliana whom Paciano had her as a daughter?
My mistake its severina decena
I have the family tree of my family and cannot find any connection to Narcisa Rizal. May I know how you got this information?
but according to Howie Severino's documentary Mga Lihim Ng Pamilya Rizal, Rizal's mother got jailed for 2 years because she was accused of poisoning her sister-in-law, wife of her brother Jose???
Bay Laguna, was the first provincial capitol(1881). Not sta cruz laguna, it is imposible to walk calamba to sta cruz(36.5km),, Calamba to Bay laguna is only 19.7km,, do the math,, so obviously it is not sta cruz laguna.
Is it true that Jose Rizal was only 5 ft tall?
He was said to be 5’3 which is very average even for white people during that time. But his clothes are made for someone who’s 4’11”.
@@timdella92 , pandak pala..no, do your homework. Average height of white Americans was prolly around 5'8 or 5"9
@@RacerX1971not in the 19th century, I saw a musuem with 19th century American clothes and they were small
@@LiwaySaGu , you need to do more research than seeing clothes...look up average height of Americans in 19th century and it's about 5'8". It's all good of Jose was very short. After all, he had many talents.
Natawa ako sa MAJOHA HAHAHAHA

O D BA? meow! meow!

Don’t get me wrong , Marrying your first cousin is incest isn’t it?
Kwento mo yan
