Drae, turn the oil into gas just before the node empties so that the last little bit of oil turns into gas. Then that little bit of gas will expand and fill the node again.
10:48 The pipe joint that wasn't closed was sucking the gas. The pipe joint that was closed kept creating gas. Useful strategy if you want to get oil in other nodes out of the ground really quickly.
4:35 & 11:32 You didn't necesarrily need a second rid, you could have just drilled a new pipe with the old one. The only advantage to the way you did it was that you have the "normal" chance of an oil spill instead of doubling it, and we all know how scared you are of oil spills.
Commented the same thing 2 vids ago, and last vid he did pull an extra pipe off one rig, so I thought he learned, but he probably didn't even mean to do it.
12:46 If you close a rig when the spill timer is ticking, it will keep ticking. This is a glitch. You could've placed down some wagons. I am surprised that you didn't freak out and that you didn't see the timer.
5:32 You DO need to upgrade that pipe as well. Though I usually use a lvl 3 pipe and smaller nodes with lvl 1 pipes to keep the price from dropping too fast.
Upgrade the freaking pipes! :D When you see that a pipe is solid black while having two ore more pipes behind it that aren't solid blacks means that the extraction is sub optional. Armchair gamer: You'd want to have solid black pipes coming out of the nodes, while of course it's better to have solid back lines coming in to the rig it is kinda better to know that you're sucking it faster then the nodes can provide. Also instead of having dual rigs, you can just branch a new pipe network form the same rig, this will push more oil through the rig. basically rigs are tier 9 pipes since you can have 3 network per rig and each network can go up to tier 3. Not to claim I'm a pro gamer or anything, but on my original play-through I cleaned out the map every single time, and had plenty of time to either wait for the right price, or boost the price up with gas, which in turns meant I usually released the lease early most of the time by October/ September except a few times where I messed up and ended up in December, but always empty plots, also taking huge loans, but never in the red :) I haven't played the heat is on yet, because I've just been enjoying watching you play :D
Drae, when you have two pipe connections in the same oil node they both extract. you'd have to close both connections so the gas doesn't come out 10:55
Drae the reason why the gas was being used when you closed the pipe is because there was two points on the one node the points as you know collect oil but if you close one point on an oil node the oil node is still accessible by the other point. Just check 10:50 for proof.
strategy, go overboard upgrading pipes to get the oil out asap, use more wagons since they also have storage space and you can sell faster at the peak, start a bit slower, don't need 3 guys looking for oil and a lot of moles at the same time, sell a tiny bit of oil all the time at a lower price so you have enough to upgrade your stuff without taking loan, you can also form an agreement with either left or right side if you need extra money, doesn't matter much if you waste a little bit compared to the 14k interest you had at the end and you want all the bonuses you can get. At a 50 map you can easy make 100k or more that's around what i got on my first run.
11:02 The Problem was, that you had two „pipe-ends“ in the oil node. One was connecting the oil node to lava and the other one was using the newly created gas to boost the extraction rate.
You can use lvl 2 and 3 pipes for left and right inc, makes the gas flow faster into them and the prices skyrocket faster. But the gas empties out faster. Just a small tip.
If you hear the clock for the spilalge, that means the rig is now pressurising. Closing the valve just means you've stopped more oil coming in, the rig is still over pressure and will pop.
Running a single pipe down or of the rig and then splitting into two is a HUGE bottleneck for you; I understand it's cheaper the way you're doing it but it just makes taking the oil out of the ground take longer.
Drea, instead of making such long pipes, you are better of making multiple shorter pipes to reach the oil. This way you can upgrade them way quicker and branch off easier!
In that smaller one that seemed like the like it was gas and oil, it was because you had two pipes in that oil node, one was closed thus turning it into gas and the open one was pushing the created gas out.
Maybe start with moles and save your dowsers for the end of the season? The moles show you exactly where the oil is where as the dowsers give you a rough guess. Your biggest expense is always in pipes, so try to be a bit more tactical with it.
i think what u did at 11minutes was have one closed valve that was turning the oil to gas, but the open valve on the same node was immediately expelling the gas while trying to mine the oil at the same time as you were trying to turn it to gas with the closed, heated valve. I think it's one or the other, change oil to gas which then also expands or mine the oil out
Drae, it would be far more cost effective to take a large loan up front and then use a couple of large ground radar instead of using tons of moles and dowsers. That way you will instantly be able to know where the oil and gas nodes are/are not and you will know how big they are. Then you can be more judicious in how you place rigs, size pipes, and lay out your pipe networks. You'll make the money faster and lose less to interest this way.
On the final season, your gas node right next to the magma, you should’ve sold when it was near the bottom still because you can always stop selling if there’s still time. Confirm the bonus💡
you need to star selling with some gas, if you wait till the gas is over the price will plumel Still, love this series, not the game, just you playing it XD
The only recommendation that I can make is to stop bottle necking the pipes at the start of the rig and instead just branch right off the rig to help with flow.
Drae, you didn't need a second rig in the first or last season. You can have multiple pipes coming from one rig, which you did in the second season! Could've saved a little money, not that $350 really matters in your case.
Drae I have found that using the scanner earlier works best than de dowsers and moles, for around 600$ you can easily clear most of the land it is totally worth it if you miss well bad luck you can get a loan
Hey drae idk if you noticed but you had two pipes connected to the one node that’s why it still spilled out gas because you didnt close the farther one may sound confusing but idk how to explain it
drae try this idk if this strat is expensive but do the dowzer and mole strat but put the 2 moles in each corner and the other 2 in the middle but a little bit far apart so u will have 4 moles searching for oil and magma then if u find magma quick do one conversion on the biggest oil that u found and thats ur only gas so that if the other oil are small atleast u can boost the prices of the incs with one big oil.
Drae, turn the oil into gas just before the node empties so that the last little bit of oil turns into gas. Then that little bit of gas will expand and fill the node again.
Good idea might use it myself
May take a few years though.
@@gerranpay6500 For huge nodes, yes. But it's DEFINITELY worth it.
@@gerranpay6500 it's actually pretty fast. Just have to upgrade your pipes to get the oil out faster.
I didnt think this works I remember drae trying this in the last play through?? It only converted what oil was remaining in the node....
10:48 The pipe joint that wasn't closed was sucking the gas. The pipe joint that was closed kept creating gas.
Useful strategy if you want to get oil in other nodes out of the ground really quickly.
That’s exactly what I was thinking lol
Always start selling right before you think it's a good time. You're always a half step too late. 😂
3:49 I´m not standing in your way
lmao
13:06 he took you up on it lol
XD
3:49 uhhhhh, EXCUSE ME?!
I just came to the comment section to see if anyone else caught that 🤣
Lmao
Drae, with an open node in an oil pocket he’s turning to gas: “Am I doing something wrong?!”
11:10, you have two valves in that oil node. One gets closed to make gas, but the gas gets sucked up by the other with the oil
Draes avatar is nightmare fuel. Thanks Icy now I dont get to sleep.
Looks like the clown from the movie, House of 1000 Corpses.
@@RubbishFPS Captain Spaulding. Your totally right tho.

damn you out here giving all the tips thats like the fourth one i read xd
in anthony's secret ground be sure to upgrade your pipe's drill speed in the very beginning so you can connect and upgrade faster and waste less time.
0:01 look at that beautiful face
3:48 oh really now! 😂
3:47 epic.

Well its about oil you know:)

I love when you play this game. It looks really cool and I can tell how much fun you're having.
3:49 Most sus thing drae has said O_O
I'm addicted to this game. Watching and playing it

I expected the comments to be full of links to Drae's poor choice of words at 3:45.

You can run more pipes from the base of the rig, there's no limit to that top node. The only risk is that oil spills will occur faster.
3:49 *SIR SIR* This is a 𝔐𝔠𝔡𝔬𝔫𝔞𝔩𝔡𝔰
Drae, it is just so cursed + I like how icy made it say Lord Drae. XD.
3:49 WAIT WHAAT
I really enjoy this series, thank you! :-)
11:20 he had two pipe nodes on that one spot he was trying to close, he would have had to close both for it to do what he wanted it to do.
Drea, instead of making such long pipes, you are better of making multiple shorter pipes to reach the oil. This way you can upgrade them way quicker and branch off easier!
3:40 did i gear what i think i heard?
Never thought id hear drae say that sentence
11:22 drae there where 2 pipes connected to one node so when you closed it it was creating and using the gas at the same time
Here to the rescue comes, out of context Drae 3:48
Protect Lord Draetard at all costs.
Drae, you can wait until the oil is almost gone in a node and then close the pipe and turn it into gas. This way you get all the oil and all the gas.
Good video drae 😃👍
10:55 you attached 2 pipes to the same oil, only closed one so the other one was letting the newly made gas out.
Love these game plays keep them coming lol
Just to mention, make sure not to have two pipes connected to one node, that was why the node was not fully closed.
Oh boy. At 3:53 you make one heck of a comment lol
You should do more Evil Genius 2! I absolutely loved it!!
11:20 Drae... you had 2 pipes connected to the node you were trying to make into gas.
14:02 History of the Human.

When the oil nodes are almost depleted turn them in to gas so you waist less oil
Surrounding the gas node is what you do in the base game to expand gas nodes.
Nice Hoolahie! I wear one myself, for Shakuhachi
3:48 did I hear that right?😂😂
i think what u did at 11minutes was have one closed valve that was turning the oil to gas, but the open valve on the same node was immediately expelling the gas while trying to mine the oil at the same time as you were trying to turn it to gas with the closed, heated valve. Just me reminiscing about Drae's old intro
Keeep up with the great vids drae I wait for your videos every day

i really wanna know what Mr weely's avatar was lol Drae or icy upload a screenshot and gimme the link please
Yes
That Guy “Phallatic”. Maybe he meant phallic but it’s kinda easy to not really know exactly what he meant.
I think it might be stephen hawking
That Guy I’m not being obstinate. I can easily see somebody not knowing what he meant. And even at that something being “phallic” is still obscure.
@That Guy don’t be that guy
Use the moles in the beginning, and the guys later to find node that you might have missed
Drae, you don't need to 2nd Rig oil nodes. Just make a new pipe coming from the Rig.
"3:49" Drae 2021!!!
simple as early as possible and all the small oil nodes as they will convert faster and expanded
3:49 😳
Hell yes!
3:48 That's What She Said
HEYYY DRAEE please make more MEDIEVAL DYNASTY vids i really love that sereis please bring it back
Probably waiting for a new update

Always double wrap your drilling rig. One drop = 18 year of spillage fines
Poor Drae, That seemed to be a little bit of a struggle but damn if it isn't entertaining.
i love this game
Thank you icy
I like to imagine that icey is watching this video and laughing his ass off at his handy work XD
3:48 sussy moment
You should try a "meme scan" for one of the levels, just take a huge loan and scan the entire map

You were closing the one node to turn that oil deposit into gas, but there was a second node in the same deposit that was letting the gas out.
11:05 Ypu have 2 points pumping that out…
Yeah you used to wrap the pipes around the gas to expand it but then it stopped when it hit the pipes, I remember you having a few issues with this...
Hey drae idk if you noticed but you had two pipes connected to the one node that’s why it still spilled out gas because you didnt close the farther one may sound confusing but idk how to explain it
