- Here at World Wide Corals, we have over 40,000 gallons of reef tanks! Most people are familiar with our famous 1200 gallon pentagon tank and the 1500 gallon tank, home to Casper the white tang, but there are many more reef tanks in our Orlando Superstore location that the public does not get to see! We actually have over 40 display saltwater aquariums all throughout our store, farm, and offices! Today we are opening the doors and giving you a special tour of every display reef tank!

All the tanks where so good. amazing to see so many great 10 and 20 gallon tanks. nice to see media reactor substrate. could be a great choice for high flow tanks or even acrylic tanks where you dont want sand to scratch it up.

Cool to see all the small tanks you get lost in the big tanks. But you can see each person's style with the small tanks. I went to the grand opening of the winter park store boy have things grown. Got to get back that way sometime.

Nice review of everything. Nice to see so many tanks. Water changes 1x/wk. ok, how much water change? What percentage?
20% a week is a general rule but it ultimately depends on how much nutrients you’re putting into your tank. Some tanks require more frequent water changes :)

Hello do you guys sell the coral skeleton substrate from reborn that is the size in the 20 gal, and the 4.5 pico? All sites I looked at sell only a new small grain.
Great tanks, I especially like the ones in the other retail store. What kind of zoanthids are on the top of the tank, the red and blue ones? Number 39 tank looks great. Love the color and movement.
What filter media? Skimmers on what size and up?
We just use filter floss for most of our mechanical filtration. Skimmers depends on how often you’re maintaining your tank and how much livestock you are keeping as well. There are times where we’d have to remove/turn off a skimmer on a large tank because it was too clean.
Seeing all those gorgeous tanks has we wondering if you use the same salt mix for all of them, and if so what brand do you use?
We like to use NeoMarine Salt for our tanks!!

For the reactor media substrate tanks, is there every an issue with nutrients? Is it every siphoned? Or proper flow takes care of it?
A little bit of both! We always go in and do a clean on the rocks and substrate:)

We us a lot of Maxspect Gyres and we love them :) It delivers great flow across longer sized tanks.

I notice it's two MP10s on the Ecotech tank? I was thinking I'd need MP40s for my Nuvo 75 EXT, but maybe I won't. I was thinking mostly LPS like Lords, a couple goniopora, and a photosynthetic gorgonian or two. Think a couple of MP10s would do the job? Thanks in advance!
Either one would work! The length of the tank plays a role as well. It wouldn’t hurt to get the mp40s and just bump down the intensity. So you’ll have more freedom to possibly increase if you ever need to :)

We do run carbon on most of the tanks! Cheap and easy way to keep it looking clean and clear!

Not really.. we’ve seen this case for some customers. That’s why we only provide and recommend tanks that we have great experience with.
