This video showed up on my TH-cam feed, and after watching and reading the comments, I see that the videos are not available online anymore. I do vaguely remember viewing these videos someplace before, and after digging through some old external drives I had laying around, I was able to find the videos that I had downloaded from pragmatic programmer a few years back. I guess being a digital packrat pays off sometimes. 🤣
I really want to learn TDD, but always fail in step 0 -- How you get test list ? How to break requirements into tasks/tests ? Break requirements into tasks VS break requirements into tests ?
Never really thought about attempting to implement the functionality I was looking to add directly in the test first. Pretty cool idea. Really that's probably how a typical developer's experience with writing a new feature is, we are just running the software every time rather than executing a test. Much cleaner this way if you can manage it I think.
So who owns the rights to these videos now? Not the pragmatic programmers anymore? This is a great pity. Even just watching this first 10 minutes is insightful.
You sir, are a living legend. Many thanks for making such a useful discipline!
Is the rest of this available somewhere?
I've found more on Vimeo.

You should upload them. You seem to have the holy grail of TDD
Is there any way I can find this online? Would you be able to share or sell this?
@@jayoolong279 @yoyo-td6ey I could try to upload them Dropbox and then share the link. Just curious if I would run into copyright issues.
Dude, please share them or something. This will be a huge help!
@@waynegreen7970 I don't think becuase even Mr. Kent doen't have them with him.

Hi! I loved this video series - but I can't find it anywhere any more. Is there any way to obtain it? Would be appreciated very much!
I don’t think it is available. You could contact Pragmatic Programmers.
I've found more parts on Vimeo.
Reached out to Pragmatic Programmers about the screencast, they said that they aren't able to sell or distribute them any more.
@KentLBeck is there a way we can find the full series of videos somewhere?
They don’t seem to be available anywhere
@@KentLBeck ah, that's a shame. I really wanted to see those videos. I guess you aren't planning to make new ones are you? :-)
