There's nothing like a fresh start in Minecraft, even if it isn't necessarily a spanking new world. I love the happy middle ground between not abandoning your world and starting anew! Just starting again with new gear is always enough to reinvigorate my personal enjoyment of this lovely game 😃 Enjoy it man!
If I may suggest, since you have a church as the donor building back at home, maybe you could have a different "religious building" out here on the island. Like an alter surrounded by tiki torches and made out of mossy cobble. Or an ominous obelisk
I love this version of starting fresh! This is what I do. It allows for an amazing world with many tales to be built but also keeps the game fresh and fun! Can’t wait to watch what you do in this “new world.”

Have you considered starting a new Java world, hardcore, or joining a server? I think you would be great in a survival world server with collaborators and new things. Going to a new area and starting to build it up from scratch is an essencial aspect of minecraft if I want to maintain a long term world in my opinion. You need something fresh from time to time and doing it in the same world just enriches the expierence and for me it's the way to do it. I'm glad to see that you're doing the same.

You have the most creative decorations and builds, it's also very unique to have a world that started as a mobile game. I think the one thing that might be holding you back is your old build style. This is a great idea to start fresh in the same world with a more modern and advanced building style!
I've been meaning to catch up on your series for a long time. Now seems like a good time to jump in for now and I'll jump back into the history of the series at a later date.

This series is so fun, been watching on different accounts since almost the first episode, it gave me motivation to start my own survival world and its been a blast!
It's not even that you only know how to build out of bamboo, you're just incredibly environmentally conscious so use bamboo instead of wood! Been subbed for ages and watched the first like 200+ episodes of this series, then kinda dropped off and never had the time to pick it back up, what with there being over 500 episodes, but this new start is a great way to get back on board! don't forget that cooked seaweed is a food source and a fuel source (when blocked). Edible seaweed would definitely be an island food source staple, just like fish.

I think you should gradually make the island more overgrown with bamboo as if it's an invasive plant to the island (would make sense) and when you leave the island is covered in massive forests of it. Also perhaps you could make a giant "help" sign out of rocks on one side of the island.
