Error code E48-32 pops up whenever Gotv signal from the aerial into the decoder is lost.The commonest cause of this error is the loose connection of the aerial cable-end metallic Jack at the back of the decoder.

Check if the aerial is in place or if is pointing to correct signal direction..Neighboring aerials can give you a clue of correct direction.

Yes you can apply this for Dstv since the dstv decoder also connect to a coaxial cable through an f-connector jack
