- The H2 is amazing but their are a couple of jobs which need sorting. First on the list is a decent looking rear tail tidy!
R&G were kind enough to send me one of their H2 tail tidy kits & Performance Parts helped out with some new indicators to complete the transformation.

Recently purchased a 2018 Super Duke. I looked at several tail tidy and all were stamped steel with visible wires. Then I discovered EVOTECH tail tidy. Made of billet Aluminum with wires running through hollow interior. Just gorgeous. Billet aluminum and no wires visible!!!!!!
Really good job LC 👍🏻 i also brought a R&G tail tidy 2 months ago for my winter edition ZX10R and as you said looks a little complicated when you actually take it out of the box and start putting it together but once its assembled and fitted to the bike it looks great. What a teaser you are with a naughty sneaky peak of the exhaust 😍😍 some come on chops chop chop 🎬🎬 get it uploaded 😊👍🏻

Been catching up with your channel, the dropping of your new H2 was bad news, I feel your pain I really do, I almost bought one once but a dicky back and arthritis in one knee stopped me, so I got a brand new KTM 1290 Super Duke R instead, so i am interested to see what I missed , do you still write for PB at all now its combined into PS. 👍🇬🇧
Thanks Beanz, yeah thankfully got the tank sorted for a fraction of the cost new so thats something at least! No not writing anything for PS now its merged, shame as I did enjoy it but never mind. I do enjoy the H2, few things to do and it will be the perfect bike I think.. Absolutely love how it looks too!

Looks great buddy, fitted an R&G tail tidy to my new CB1000R, must admit I still prefer the look of the Evotech ones to the R&G,although the R&G unit is about £50 cheaper than the Evotech 😜
I just love the GSXR you have brother. I got a K3 recently and yeah it's old but dang I love it. Hopefully I can test ride a new GSXR in the future

Very saucy. Although that standard exhaust is humongous, it must weigh 20kg! You should do a weigh-in as it were between old & new.

Don't forget to change the battery, why don't they come with Lithium anyway lol. I got a Shido LTX9-BS, you will need at least an LTX12-BS I would think or the 14 might be best, I've had mine for quite a while now with no issue.
You can charge with a trickle charger, but to make sure it's safe and the cores are balanced as it gets charged, the best for them is the TecMate OptiMate Lithium 0.8A Battery Optimiser. I've never charged mine yet, but want to occasionally to expand it's lifetime use by balancing the cores occasionally, the bikes charging will be like a normal trickle charge.

@@LambChopRides Nice one mate 👍 Out of interest what did you decide to go for? it's nice to know decent options to consider in the future, I know Shorai are good, but the only charger option is their own and they are even more expensive than the one suggested above.

I am an Evotech man over R&G anyday. Still, the tail tidy looks good and the bike is coming along nice. That exhaust in stock form was the ugliest I have ever seen on a bike.

Anyone know where I can get a tail-tidy for my Peugeot 106D?
Yea drive it to Paris for the weekend put a macron with a heart stick on the back and stand well back , the rear end will be tidy in no time, you may even get some real looking bullet holes to boot....you can thank me later.

Much nicer rear end now. Why do the manufacturers not get with the programme and fit these as standard.
For some reason, the law requires that the registration plate extends past the rear tyre so manufacturers don’t have much option but to fit a duck billed platypus’ tail on the back!

They cant, they have to meet regulations which state the number plate must be over the back of the wheel at the end of the bike

You need to put a small reflector on the number plate for mot reasons. And Mr chops are you telling me a 30k plus bike is held together with superglue? Lol and yes now the back end looks sexy.
I didnt use any superglue in the install.. Not sure where that was needed..
Side Bob billy , don’t think it will need an MOT anytime soon 🤣
