- Rowaytown Seafood started as a casual coastal spot, but now it has grown into one of the best seafood spots in the United States. Business partners Kevin and Barbara Conroy are the team behind the establishment, and now, they're out with a new cookbook, "A Touch of Salt." Jeff Glor reports.

@georgeannrutkowski2740 It is great that these folks created this book that documents the life around the area and its fishermen. It is sad that they want to sell it at an exorbitant price to enrich themselves further. I see it ( and I may be dead wrong) as rich people just wanting to get richer which disgusts me.

In this video he started talking about how he got started by saying that he knew nothing about seafood and very small then he bought a restaurant and in the beginning the lobster roll was cold lobster with cut celery cut lobster and mayonnaise on a hero,then he changed it to hot cut lobster in butter.My question is how much is it going for because to put that amount of lobster on that size hero must be at least 20.00 question is it really worth it?,is the question?probably yes,and I remember years ago when it was my and my twins birthday my father asked us if we wanted to go out and celebrate our birthday and I looked at my brother and said what do you want to do, and I turned to my father and said DAD,I want to stay home and have steamed artichokes with butter, tossed salad with everything and grilled steak and lobster with a baked potato butter,sour cream, bacon bits and chives and my father agreed and I said DAD,I enjoy the valley and home and we had a great time just the family very quiet just the way I like it.

I ate at some luxury seafood place (not my money), and got a fish served like the one at 0:48, complete with skin, bones, head. It took me forever to dissect the thing, making a huge mess on the process. I thought it would just be a nice, easy to eat fillet. Never again.
Entire roast fish is a very traditional easy prep... it's very good if they do it right

Kinda bad actually....used to be a locals only joint with fair prices but now it's super trendy, expensive & hard to even get in....

I knew the spot very very well when Henry Higgins had the Lobster Co-op, Capitan Henry's next door, and his restaurant, Higgins, a 2 minute walk up the avenue. 🇺🇸🦞
