Absolutely stunning mate, great time lapses and very soothing to watch. It's definitely sold now I'll be heading up there within the next month. Cheers for sharing ATB Steve
Thanks for you comments Steve it's much appreciated mate. Aye get yourself up there mate, that route is a beauty, I parked at Capplegill with no issues and I never seen anyone at all. Tfw, Atb Dave
Really enjoyed that, thanks for taking us along. This area is so vast and quiet, we love it. You can go for miles and not see a soul, wild camping heaven. Aye, the adders are out but are shy creatures really, nowt to bother about higher up though, they love the bracken and south facing slopes. Take care...R&D
Cheers R&D, love this area like, it's mint. I can't wait to head back, loads of character and.......DARK SKIES to die for lol. Thanks for watching, Atb Dave
woweee some awesome shots i wish i knew how to use my dslr properly as i know it has capability.. just too much info for my old withered brain.. nice one love the moffats some great bothys too... i might go and have a look at cheviot goats this weekend theyre geet cant arnt they! x
Hi Dave geat vid pal love the lapses & that night time shot its the biz...looks a nice place up there somewhere i'm sure i'd enjoy.was the letterbox effect meant or you still having bother with it.tfs mate atb Andy.
Cheers Andy, aye I used the letterbox otherwise I wouldn't of been able to put the night shot of the tent in ha ha, I've sussed it for the next time lol. It's a superb area, not a soul to be seen. Tfw, Atb Dave
Great stuff Dave , us sony guys got to stick together lol. I could join you down there sometime , i'll need to check where train station is. Good time lapses ! I'm looking at the nordisk telemark 2 because of its height but if Enan is a couple of inches higher than Akto that could sway it.ATB.
Thanks Eddie...you've got a tent addiction.....like me lol!. Aye that sounds like a plan, I could pick you up from the station no worries at all, its an outstanding area. I'd like to check your A6300 out as I reckon it will be the business, you'll get some great astro shots especially with the Samyang. Atb, Dave
Ok June or july some monday to wednesday for me , i don't know if thats suitable but it can be later in the year. A6300 gives you a great 4k image ( its a 6k sensor ) and low light performance i'm just finding it alot harder to use than the Pannys yeah i can have a look at the Enan , i've got several tents but no really lightweight option. ATB.
Scots Wildcamper aye Eddie sounds good, I'll check my offshore rota and let you know, I'm 3 wks on/off at the min. Aye the Sony takes a bit of getting used to as does the lens (it's a fully manual lens). It makes it all worthwhile when you start getting the results though 👍
Great vid Dave mate. Stunning footage in a beautiful place. Keep those vids coming! Cheers and ATB, Stu.
Cheers Stu, much appreciated mate, aye it's a cracking place to camp, def heading back soon. Thanks for watching, Atb, Dave

Markwildcamp aye Mark, it's a vast area, I'm gonna have a bash at ticking off the Corbetts in these parts. Speak soon ☺
