Quite a lot of areas around Southampton seem quite forest-like. The 13 to Bitterne looks nice and it's got my favourite type of vehicles on it. I'll also have this on my list to try out! Thank you for showcasing all of these routes. :)
Aw, that's a shame. They always get moved, just like the ones in London. Catching VolvoB7TLs is almost as hard as getting to Southampton from London. lol But there's still loads of cool stuff down there to try out. I presume their replacements are VolvoB9TLs?
They're going out presumably since they have no need for them, they converted all of their routes into 'city reds' which uses streetlites. The majority of the buses without the city red livery or either not in southampton, withdrawn or in very little quantity.
Ohhh, so that's what those other ones were. I understand now. I kept seeing those Streetlites in this video. Would you say Bluestar have the greater variety?
Yes, though take a look at Empress road depot and you can see the massive amount of different buses they have. Some are owned by local charities and councils and others by First Berkshire and other First divisions which do go down there to be repainted or refurbished.

Sadly most of the geminis have moved to fareham, so they are rare on the service.
