Congrats on your ascension. When I switched to PC gaming, I never went back. Next up, it's time to learn the way of mouse and keyboard FPS rather than controller aimbotting people. Was impressed by how smooth the build went, didn't even slip up on the ram slots. Even now when I build pcs I forget the order to plug in cables and end up struggling to fit them past other parts 🤣

Congrats, man. I still recall my personal victory parade after building my first PC around 23 years ago. After the usual hiccups, and having to figure a thing or two out on my own for those old machines (dip switch settings, looking at you), it was quite satisfying. Got easier as time went by; more builds done, less troubleshooting or reference needed, and the tech became more user friendly. And, of course, saving money while doing so.

I've never been so happy watching a video! I wish I could build my own/ upgrade my custom-prebuild I'm running a 2070 card with i7 intel. It runs fine but I think it can do with some beefing up and more fans. Im stuck staring at an ugly black tower with a clear window that shows nothing fancy inside. WANNA HELP ME JONNY??? Your build is making me so inspired! Love all the effort you put into editing this too! The FlexiSpot had me giggling! You look good advertising that! Hope Ice Pick is great for you Jonny! Late to this one, but as an experienced PC builder myself (20+ years) I just want to wish you a huge PC builder well done. You've done a good job. You did mention about the RAM speed, and you are correct Mhz clock speed does mean faster, BUT it depends on the CAS Latency. Ideally you want the higher clock speed with the lower CAS Latency, but the lower the CAS the more expensive. But in real world performance there's not much in it for the average user or gamer. Arguably 1-3 fps - not worth fighting over so in future or for anyone out there just get the best deal. And as others have said, don't forget to enable XMP in the BIOS.

Congrats on the sponsorship. The B-roll for that was oddly amusing. Better than most sponsor plug segments, anyway.
    Another congrats on the build.
You're super, Jonny, not super stupid.

Nice choice for case bro, im using one as well. Just a pro-tip for the air mini, on paper it says you can only fit 2x 120mm fans in the bottom intake, theres a hack for it to fit 3, sandwich all 3 fans, only screw the left and right side securely enough to sandwich the middle. It wont move or wobble trust me.
my OCD could not handle the extra wasted space. Give it a go!

Jesus christ, is £40 really equivalent to $50 these days? The last time I was in the UK, £40 was, like, $70-75. Almost double the amount in dollars. It made ir really easy to quickly estimate how much something was going to cost in dollars, and really easy to spend a shit ton of those dollars in no time at all.
