7+ Week Old Drahthaar Puppy Intro to (Very Cold) Water

We decided to take our 7-week old “B” Litter vom Prairie-Flusstal puppies to a pond for the first time today. While it was a 70-degree day, the water was still quite chilly. The puppies loved the Cheetos (a common treat we use to encourage pups to swim), but only a few pups were tough enough to brave the cold water. When the weather warms up in May, I’m sure that all of the puppies will really enjoy the water.
