Recommend original gorilla glue, remember it expands so you will need to wipe the excess as it dries.

@Blue Hangar - how does it handle with the extra weight?
Just got this P51, and bought the aliexpress L/G, but after reading RCHobbies on this aircraft, I have concerns about its weight and stalling in turns.
Im hoping the extra weight is negated by the reduction in drag (and also removal of external fuel tanks).
Also, did you do any other mods to the P51 like the engine alignment change via a washer, or upgraded ESC etc?

5:12 don’t you mean .5/1mm closer to the trailing edge? Moving it closer to the leading edge would cause more issues. (At least from what I know, correct me if I’m wrong) overall retracts look amazing man. I wish there were more tutorials like this so I didn’t have to diy it myself with other planes

super le montage, je n'ai pas de doute que cela fonctionne, ceci dit j'ai un fort doute quand a l'intégrité physique de l'aile car vous n'y avez fait aucun renfort et on peut logiquement supposer qu'a force d'atterrissage elle risque de céder , quand bien même le modèle est léger, d'autre part en montant ce train, vous avez de fait modifié le poids donc le CG n'est plus le même, quand est il? et pour terminer vous avez collé tous les éléments du train, comment ferez vous lorsqu'il faudra les changer suite a de la casse? Ne voyez aucune critiques de ma part dans ce message, ce sont juste des questions d'un modéliste a un autre, car j'ai un funracer de multiplex sur lequel je veux monter un train mais ou je pourrai faire des réparations s'il y a problème et evidemment a la vitesse ou il vole si les ailes n'ont pas de renforts je vous laisse imaginer ce qu'il arrivera. en tous cas merci pour vos explications. amicalement

How do you attach and lock the gear leg wire to the retracts?

There is a screw which clamps down on the leg. I also put a few drops of glue to be safe as once the retract is glued in the wing you cant access the screw.

Yeah connect the two retracts with a y lead then plug into a spare channel on the receiver. You can then assign a switch on your radio to that channel if its not done so already.

Both retracts use the same channel however, it needs to be an individual channel. If you have a 4 channel plane then you will need at least 5 channels if you want to add retracts and plug them into channel 5.
