WWE 2K24 Patch 1.09: Full Details & Hidden Content, Plus WWE 2K25 Officially Confirmed!

- In this latest round-up of wrestling game news we have all the latest details on the new Patch 1.09 update for WWE 2K24, aswell as confirmation on the status of WWE 2K25, which is now confirmed to be in development!
The new patch 1.09 update for WWE 2K24 adds in the long awaited WrestleMania 40 arena for players that purchased the Forty Years of WrestleMania Bonus DLC, including Day and Night versions.
Other updates included in the patch notes list server stability improvements for online services, while unannounced changes see the addition of two new models in MyFaction, as WWE Games modder WhatsTheStatus has revealed a 2018 Becky Lynch and a 2016 Chad Gable, which apepar to be upcoming Persona Cards.
Alongside the WWE 2K24 update, we also have an update on WWE 2K25, as PWInsider are reporting that development on the game is well underway, while I was able to find confirmation on the game from 2K, aswell as a release window of Fiscal 2025.
The Fiscal 2025 window means WWE 2K25 is planned to release between April 6, 2024 and April 5, 2025, with the game set to continue to release around WrestleMania.

They have patched back in the crowd animation for the YES Chants in Daniel Bryans entrances.
Does anybody else have an issue using the Single Leg Knee Strike 3 on their Daniel Bryan caws. Everytime he starts running towards the opponent out of the corner he always seems to just wipe out and fail, kinda like slipping on a banana peel. The only time I don’t get that result is when the finisher is reversed, then the normal reversal animation is done. Just thought that was really weird when I went to use him in a match in my Universe mode.
I have the issue too.. I have kept the yes chant finisher as a super finisher. Everytime fails... Also have connected few times. I dont know what's the glitch with it.

Idk if it’s just me but wrestling really doesn’t need a yearly based game. I mean the wrestling industry is year round thing unlike basketball or football
They just want ppl money every yr for half ass games because they know ppl are dumb enough to keep buying them. Hell, I still haven't finished the 5 previous wwe games.
@@sweetpetergeda you ain’t lying about that money thing either and I mean I can understand doing a different theme for the showcase and what not, but when you are making new championship designs , debuting new superstars and even when releasing ppl. It would be better knowing we don’t have to wait a whole year just for that content

they should honestly just turn it into a full on live service game. the gameplay is fine enough so they dont have to change it and then they can just add shit every month or so like updated wrestlers. also they can probably nickle and dime us better like that.

I really can’t believe how many people I’ve seen complain on various platforms that the WM 40 arena isn’t free. Like, 2K deserves criticism for a lot of things but they were really clear this arena was only in the 40 years of Wrestlemania edition.

I hate how some barricade movies are missing in the "Barricade Movie" section. Ilja Dragunov, Joe Gacy and Ivy Nile are missing their barricade movies. There could be more
Yeah why is that? Seems a bit lazy to me. Doesn't make sense. There are more, seems from this video Bianca doesn't have one in the WM 40 arena.
I'm sure this would be tougher to implement, but I'd love to see a third option for outdoor arenas that includes either the transition from day to night or a sunset.
The mania 40 arena it's a little buggy because it dosen't show it's actual location but night one no nameplate
That's what I was saying. When I tried it, the nameplates were absent in the Night Arena. Not only that, the Night Arena was unavailable in Create-a-Show!
OH! And the matchup screen, it shows the 2K23 generic matchup screen, when you use the Night Arena.
Yeah imma need them to change those things immediately and expeditiously
yeah the matchup screen is bugged for the night arena and same with the location plate and even on the day arena the nameplate is bugged like you said

It's got some issues.
Day on entrance shows other cities instead of Philadelphia
On Night, it shows no city, and the entrance names are not there
I actually found something really cool , Liv Morgan has her own special move in 2K24 when playing with Liv Morgan, put your opponent in the corner and turn them backwards and have Liv hit the surfboard into the turnbuckle and then run at the opponent and liv will hit her signature double stomp and it has a pin combo aswell
When you pick night time WM 40 Arena the daytime one has a loading screen background of Wrestlemania XL but not the Night time one idk why 😂

Idk who to reach out to but when you change out the championships in universe with custom championships after two matches it glitches and you’re playing the same week over and over and over again not getting anywhere

In universe mode, you can only get the daytime for some reason when I went into the exhibition you could get day and night wrestlemania 40 they need to fix this
Well they haven’t fixed the online servers or what I posted yesterday it still crashes whenever you click on edit custom superstar go to deletion utility try to delete the custom superstar or images it crashes only 2k

Has anyone noticed tears/poke throughs on the clothing during matches and entrances? I'm not sure if its just on my xbox s version?
ok idk if it’s me, but does anyone else download a CC outfit and it seems to mess with the game? sometimes the outfit will overwrite the default photo and online it will overwrite the name of the wrestler and the move set (assigned super finishers will be regular finishers). am i the only with this and if not does anyone know how to fix it?

I didn't pay extra for the wrestlemania pack so won't get the arena . I bought the deluxe version for a deluxe price and that's still got loads of locked content. Seeing as the roster is cut from last year and the next game is in production, I'm not wasting more money on this game.

They need to add running irish whips and remove the stupid need to tie up for grapples. It looks stupid to tie up to do a move that starts with a toe kick.
With the cover star. I think they're going to go with The Rock or CM Punk. But they've already been on there, i would like for them to try someone different like Gunther or Damien Priest. Or maybe do The USO's and tell their story in showcase. We've never had a Tag Team on the cover before and I feel USO's or New Day would be something special. You can even showcase USO's vs New Day rivalry.
I also thought of a Bloodline Showcase where you play as Roman and you keep your reign alive.
Punk wasn’t actually on the cover, it didn’t show his face. So I’d be perfectly okay with him being on the cover for 2K25

The trons at the top of the ramp at Wrestlemania 40 are playing the Stage & Ramp movie not the titantron movie like it should be. Example use The Rock '01 and the stage & ramp movie with the scratch logo will play instead of his titantron movie. And no name graphics on the trons for Seth, mcintyre and sami to name a few
Superman Punch animations are outdated and new an upgrade and an updated Roman Reigns non-championship entrance

I got lucky and got the chad gable persona card with my first pack I bought with points(haven’t gotten any other hard from the set and I bought 7 packs though) and sadly it’s just the model. He has the shoosh theme and thank you entrance. So honestly not worth it in my opinion. Easier and cheaper to just download a modded version with longer hair
What they need to do is allow you to make more credit characters because you got more creative titles then you have wrestlers
They are so late with the wrestlemania 40 arena and should have did this early before or on the Day of wrestlemania

The Creation Competition is amazing and fun , but I wish it included players outside of the USA 😭. A LOT of the talented members of our community are from around the world.
How in the world can the game makers forget to put the wrist tape on Bubba Ray Dudley? I guess I have to do it myself smh
