TCS Sydney (Mini) Marathon Gtting To New Wave B Start Line Location Sun 15 Sept 24

Dulcineasdiarycontinued - There was suppose to be extra public transport to get runners to the start line of the Marathon series of runs but 10 mins until the next bus arrived to get me to Crows Nest was too long and wait so I power walked it all the way to St Leonatds Ststion by which time the 10 minutes wait bus had not arrived yet but due in a few minutes . I hope on and hopped that I was heafing in the right direction by hopping on the Metro at Crows Nest Station and getting off at Victoria Cross. From Victoria Cross it was a very long walk up hill to the B wave start line holding area. I could not find the water station which was announced but there were no queues to use the very small number of portaloos there. There were more outside of the holding areas. The neighbourhood bins along the walk to the starting line were full of banana skins disposable cups and other fast food packaging- breakfast on the run.
