"This is my life. I wanted to sing like this. This is why I was born... I wanna save someone, just as I was saved. I've finally... Finally found it." Goodbye, Iwasawa. Thank you for saving me.
I'm a grown man who works with his hands for a living. Every time I watch this anime I forget about the scene that accompanies this song... And cry like a bitch.
Even after 13 years this song remains imprinted on you. The story of a girl who wanted to live thanks to music but in the end the burden of a cruel world truncates all her dreams.
Angel Beats really made such an impact on me as a person. It opened my eyes up to death and what it really means to live you life the best you can before your time runs out and so you can die with no regrets. This is my all time favorite anime and always will be. I cried in almost every episode from laughter or from sadness and every time during the five times I’ve watched it all the way. Everything from the characters and their relationships to the music to the ending and the love really broke my heart in the best way possible. And this song just reminds me of everything I said prior of not letting your life pass you by before you can do anything worthwhile.
This is quite a good take. It's a simple one but it's all that's needed. Angel Beats was many messages, and one of them truly was to make the most of the experiences and goals you had and the bonds you made with people.
I don't know why, but I was listening to my mix, I wanted to see if this song was still on TH-cam, I heard all the entire song, remembering her pest and how she passed away, it s useless to say that I started to cry again, after 3 year I didn't heard it anymore, lol
Ms Otaku I looked at ur channel if u want a playlist for anime songs to sleep or just listen to there’s ok with lots o songs on my channel I’d appreciate it if u check it out also I added this :)

When iwasawa played this song in the 3rd episode it finally came to me what this anime was about, All the characters had some mistake or downfall in their life but they gave up instead of getting up and living on. they died with regrets rather than dying with out them. the message of Angel Beats was to live life to the fullest and die without any regrets.

TheMagicBambi In the ending credits they slowly disappeared as the season went on. It was to show that the characters are gone now. I believe that in the last episode they all appeared again. (If I'm remembering it right. Been a while since I watched it all.)
I was touched by the ending of this anime, but didn't cry. Even if I did, I already cried my eyes dry when Iwasawa disappeared… I really dislike how she got into the centre under an episofe just to disappear completery… I really liked her story…
I jumped into Angel Beats knowing nothing about it and sobbed through a lot of it. I’ve never seen anything that touched me so much, nor an OST so memorable and beautifully heartbreaking. I tried rewatching it months ago but i just broke down almost immediately. The message is so so close to home and just 🥲🥲

I really love this song.... it's so full of feelings.. it's like Iwasawa shouting to the world, "I AM HERE. I WILL SING WITH ALL MY HEART. I WILL SING UNTIL MY VOICE IS GONE. I WILL SING UNTIL THE END OF MY LIFE.".. especially in the chorus... I can't stop listening :/
@@majimapyro370 the anime was a original one so there aren't any original source for that. Everything you see in the anime is everything. I hope everyone gets a try in the afterlife to fulfil their dreams and then pass one peacefully, like all the characters did in Angel Beats. Some people die too quickly to find happiness, purposes in life or simply not ready yet to die. It may sound weird, but this anime convinced me to live my life to fullest as you never know it might be your last day. My Song and Ichiban no Takaramono are the best OST I've ever heard.. I don't know why, but each time I watch this anime there are ninja's cutting unions somewhere in my walls....

I watched this anime 3-4 years ago. One of the only thing i remember about the anime is this song and the scene. It gets me in tears and it hits harder every year. Even if i don't know japanese, even i wasn't listening this song for 1 years, i still know the lyrics.
I’m an adult now, and I’ve been departed from my deep connection I once had with anime, for quite some time now. As I climb out of this what sometimes seems to be endless depression, this song gives me some of the most positive emotions I have brought upon myself in years. This anime always will hold a deep place in my heart. Things are looking good in life and I think I need to give anime another shot.

¡¡DIOOOOOOSS MIOOOOO!! ¡¡Espectacular!!

Weve all heard iwasawas story, but in truth, we all know iwasawa in our hearts. You know someone whos made it through the hardships of life only to be shot down by life itself. Even if that persons yourself. Im here to tell you, youre not alone. You can do this. I believe in you.
Listening to this song kinda hurts you know? Hurts in the good way. I am trying to find more music with this vocalist. But I can't seem to find any despite knowing the vocalist's name: Marina. Can anyone help me out with this?
This Song......gives me the chills, still to this day, i remember when i watched Angel Beats, EP 3, first time i cried (very hard) and felt a pain um my chest watching anime. This is art, it still moves my heart, and my soul, thanks you
I remember one of my friends baited me into watching angel beats he convinced me that it's a funny anime and i decided to watch it, and cried my eyeballs out at the ending.
Iwasawa is such an underrated waifu and an ideal woman you wish to have. I will never get tired of hearing this angelic voice and cherish this for the rest of my life.
Not even just Angel Beats... anything written by Jun Maeda is tear worthy to the highest extremes. That man is a total genius, and Key is an amazing company.
And her humming this song is the proof Iwazawa was reborn too. I mean they all were, I think that was the point of the anime, the pLce they were in, not everyone who died, every kid who died went there but those who did were given a second chance at life.
It is a great point you make, I like to think that all lives we live are in us somewhere. I believe in being reborn, and I believe that sometimes we get impressions from our past lives.
This is one of those songs where u dont need to know what she's saying to get the feels. Shivers.

I had this song stuck in my head and had forgotten it was from angel beats ❤ it alwayd hits me on the feels no matter how many years go by ❤😭
Weve all heard iwasawas story, but in truth, we all know iwasawa in our hearts. You know someone whos made it through the hardships of life only to be shot down by life itself. Even if that persons yourself. Im here to tell you, youre not alone. You can do this. I believe in you.
Litterally my favorite character and it was so amazing to see her arc.
Angel beats is one of the main anime that gat me in to anime 😭😭
All these years later and i return here. I'll never forget you Iwasawa. And ill never forget your song❤

Not even just Angel Beats... anything written by Jun Maeda is tear worthy to the highest extremes. That man is a total genius, and Key is an amazing company.
And the ending after credits this, becauss of this song the reincarnation of Kanade and Yu came together
Hi. Levi
And her humming this song is the proof Iwazawa was reborn too. I mean they all were, I think that was the point of the anime, the pLce they were in, not everyone who died, every kid who died went there but those who did were given a second chance at life.
not only a brilliant anime angel beats but I think its one of the best at putting in music and having a really unique reason for the whole band thing
Every time I am hearing this song. It always make me to move on from my regrets and try to live my life to the fullest.
It is a great point you make, I like to think that all lives we live are in us somewhere. I believe in being reborn, and I believe that sometimes we get impressions from our past lives.
This song makes my soul cry, I love her
