We haven't traveled in a year, we prefer cruising but with covid we've been researching other venues. Your video was so helpful in making our decision to book moon palace. Thank you for taking the time to record & post your visit with them. It helps to actually see the place your thinking to visit. I'm not blown over or convinced by the ads from any establishment, my hubby kids me that I'm like Chevy Chase on his vacation movies lol, i can't deny it, i want everything to be perfect. We will be staying at Moon Palace in April 2021. After watching your video, we are super excited! We are hoping we will love the resort as much as you did. My 12 years old and my 6 years are beyond excited to see the resort:) Thank you for making this video.
If you put the double beds together the cleaning staff will make the beds up as if it is one bed. My wife and i were just there in October of 2021. We booked into the Sunrise and had a king bed room but the next day we became members at Moon Palace and they upgraded us to the Grande but they only had double bed rooms left. They told us to put the double beds together and the staff will make them up as one bed, and that's exactly what they did. It was pretty cool.
My impressions of the Sunrise were awesome, but The Grand is just a step up in overall quality in food and service. What were your thoughts after the visit to Sunrise?
@@e2whitaker119 location is good. Very close to the airports. I do agree that I liked the grand a little more. It was newer and a little nicer but it was still a great experience overall.

I love your honesty! The beds are really too small....so that leaves us out. I can't imagine flying across the nation to sleep in a small uncomfortable bed. Besides, it looks boring. All the fun seems to be over at the Grand (more expensive $500 A day)...
Sorry for the late reply. Really both sides have tons to do from bike rides, mini golfing, Flow riders, shows, pools, tennis, etc. The beds are a little crowded and I wish they were at least queens in the double rooms.

Yes, we do tip waiters, house keeping, basically all servers. We typically tip $1.00 per person at each meal, and a few dollars per day to bartenders and servers by pool. Many don't tip, but we like to reward great service. Day pass to the Grand is pricy, around $100 USD for adults. We will post a video of pools and slides at the Grand. Plenty to do on the Synrise side. Not sure Nizuc will be open, but Sunrise is fabulous with more to do for teenagers.

The resort just finished an awesome kids section last summer and I know a five and eight year old would love it. They have so much to do and it would be a change up to Planet Hollywood. The Sunrise side of the Moon Palace is great, but I think The Grand side is a step-up and gives access to both areas.
Hi! I'm going there in February 2021 with my boyfriend and two friends. I wanted to know if the Japanese Restaurant, Momo, it's included in the All-Inclusive? thank you. And this is only if you can, can you see what's the average age of people there? We know it's more of an Adult and family hotel but maybe there's some people in their 20s (we are 21-22). The Momo restaurant, including the tepanyaki is included with no additional cost. Make reservations early for Tepanyaki. A very good amount of all ages, including good 20's crowd. The resort, being a family resort has a young vibe.
Hi there! I am going to Cancun on July 1st with my boyfriend and 2 kids ages 15 and 10. Ive been to moon palace sunrise and Nizuc a few times but the last time was years ago. Never been to grande because it’s so expensive. Between Moon palace and Planet Hollywood in costa mujeres, which would you recommend?
Does anyone on here have the membership. We decided not to do it but if they had more resorts in different areas of the world we might change our minds.
We love the all you can eat food and the fact that we don't need to travel anywhere. The service is excellent and we can't complain about how great the prices are.

Love that is it so close to the airport, but the beach in the area is not the best when compared to Cancun or Maroma Area.

Low 80's for air temp, unless stormy. Water is probably 75 degrees, really pleasant.

Other than frequent hand washing, mask wearing inside lobby, and limiting numbers at buffets, we experienced no I'll affects.
