11:35 in his analysis (Kazu analysing himself) while I cannot speak Japanese, they stopped here too and it sounded like they discussed a better combo. He just missed this combo extension.
13:17 In Amemiya's Analysis He thought of ways to get another T-spin rather than a double, which if possible/pulled off, definitely an improvement to survive and possibly, if lucky, get back in. [Edit: couldn't find a way out with T-spin double using ruleset of ppt, possible with Jstris's ruleset]
15:17 Kazu has shown that he also tries to have optional c4w when pc seems not possible or c4w is better for him, so unsure if he WANTED a c3w or if pieces just wouldn't let him go for c4w
    16:40
once the other side drops their combo, the goal is to spike before they can get counter attacks. Less about not being worth it and more about the strategy.
36:18 just you wait... (I think he learnt this because it's pretty much a 4 wide counter)
38:20 I think it is because of something you mentioned a while back, messy garbage. Kazu some time ago definitely tried to avoid smaller combos and mostly back to back, now I do see him going for small combos more often.
39:58 ? I think you meant to say puyo has problems against Tetris?
55:23 Amemiya contemplated about his 4wide set up and how well garbage was taken into account. *I think* he said or thought that the I piece put on far right causes him to not get quick access to the Tetris hole. Something interesting.
57:45 ngl, nice find but no idea how you can make your stack look clean by setting that up...
1:01:49 ? PC was possible and had a pretty fast solution too, I think he either miscalculated timing or didn't want a PC but fire off two T-spins skipping over Amemiya's first attack.
(they, he and other players, notice PC possibilities very early)
I only watched bits of each player's own analysis (it's... not exciting to not understand anything until they mention specific pieces "S-o-mino")
Just as a note for puyo: Back to backs matter a lot in terms of messy garbage and the small combos but still big (5-6) from Kazu are what he introduced in his play style.
    cheers

    Few infos:
Kazu seems to always play with control, even in Tetrio, which makes me wonder how the f' he can get top 5 in Tetrio... and he might get further if he played more.
Kazu was the player who broke Amemiyas win streak of I think 2 years (afterwards Furea/Flare followed)
Kazu played Amemiya few days before and "won by a big margin" (twice the wins)
Followed by Furea/Flare (known as Fractal ingame atm) who won similar far ahead against Amemiya
    For those less in knowledge
Kazu was one of the earliest players to give hope in beating 4wide without better 4wide set up while Amemiya turned to playing lots of 4wides
    Then this event came...
iirc life time Amemiya won most matches, they played a lot.

17:44 the opener is mountainous stacking, which is actually more powerful than Gamushiro.

Mountainous stacking has the well placed in the middle, while gamushiro has the well more on the left side. When you receive lines, it is easier to combo and send more lines.

@Вероника Заглотова yea ur totally correct, didn't even think about that tbh. One thing tho, when receiving lines, pc isn't always the best solution. like you said, 5-4 is the best option, because stacking a spike would send more lines.

kazu is now much better! Ameimiya now can only play 4 wide. We will see more than 5 players better than him in one year. Now there are 3... Kaz, Furea and uyo.
