Have you seen the Sea Ray?

Not in person, but I've definitely heard of it. Reminds me of a smaller, slightly "cheesier" version of the Pirate...lol.

What can you tell about the "Bayern Kurve"? Is it still in operation? You are commenting on it as an "enigma". Means never to be seen at the fairs? By the way the Kolmax Dumbos tend to have a surrounding gate in Germany too.

Basically, Midway Of Fun has the ride listed on their website (well, spelled "Bayren" Kurve), but I have seen pretty much no evidence of it's existence other than that. I've never seen it at any of their midways, either in person or online, and in fact, all of the pictures they have of it on their website are of the one at the Kennywood amusement park in Pittsburgh. I'm sure it exists in some way, shape, or form, since that would be one of the weirdest and most obscure things to lie about, so maybe there's some reason we haven't seen much of it? I remember seeing a listing for a used Bayern Kurve in the U.S. years ago for pretty darn cheap (I want to say ~30 thousand US), so maybe Midway Of Fun were the ones who picked it up.
Also, that makes sense about the Dumbo fence thing. Idk why, but I remember the fencing being a lot more "make-shift" than it was, though you can in the video that they had to strap some extra railing around some of the entryways to block them off.

Dr.Oplis360 Well, I also tried to find pictures/videos of the ride in motion and was not successful in searching YT-videos or other Internet services. Maybe they do own it but find it unpractically to move due to it‘s weight or maybe it takes too long to build the ride up in comparison to newer clap and go rides of today. Or maybe the ride needs spare parts that may be hard to get? It might also be too risky to operate in todays times? So the picture on their website is actually taken at Kennywood?

Yep. You can tell it's Kennywood's from the black fence around it and the wall on the right side (unless they happened to also have black fence and took that picture next to a wall...). And all of that you mentioned is a possibility, especially here in the States where you have one family/company running the entire midway, as opposed to just one or two rides. That's the main reason you don't see a lot of the massive stuff that you would see at an event like Oktoberfest at your county fair. They do exist, but most of those attractions are ran by independent operators who sort of "tack on" their attractions to the midways of larger events. It just seems odd to me to list a ride that your not willing or able to actually set up and run, those maybe it's a bit of a "teaser trailer" or something.

This video is brilliant. Did you get a good view of Vertigo, their version of the classic round-up? Haven’t seen it in person in a hot minute but I want to know your thoughts on it.

How can you tell if the ride is European
Please say why you think Midway is a joke
I am old School I remember rides like the zipper Ring of fire crazy train kamikaze
Midway of fun is in my town Madera
Next month and October in Fresno will be another Fair but that carnival will be Butler amusement

I'm pretty sure I said the exact opposite of Midway of Fun. I said that the last video I made on them was meant to be more of a joke (mainly on the venue itself) but was taken pretty seriously by some. I don't have anything against them, and have actually been pretty impressed with their newer additions and improvements.
Anyway, I can usually tell if a ride is European or not via two ways:
      1. I just know off the top of my head from spending waaaaay to much time looking into this stuff
      2. The look of the ride, which may tell you whether or not it was built for the European fairs. The dumbo elephants rides great example of this. There are a few things European "round rides" like this typical have that are fairly uncommon on American ones (especially kids/family rides): A metal floor (as opposed to the ride just sitting on the ground), an enclosed operator both (which often serves as a ticket booth, and is opposed to the typical "poll on a stand"), the lack of permanent fencing around the ride (as there would likely be little to no fencing if the ride were in Europe), and lastly the crazy amount of lighting and signs (these attractions need to be flash inorder to attract customers, as they are usually their own business).
Sorry for the essay...haha. It's just that I think that this is a great question and would likely to bring up in a future video!
