- One of the Metra lines I had yet to ride on was the Metra Electric line. I took train 115 to Blue Island and was fortunate enough that I was allowed to stand up front on the train. I was the only commuter on this train that day.
I hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment, like, and subscribe
The new Nippon Sharyo South Shore NICTD-like Highliners. Even though the first Metra Nippon Sharyo Highliners came out before the South Shore Bi-Level cars.
south Shore hates their big levels I've heard
bi levels*
I wonder why. I know long ago back in like 2009 or 2010, they were supposed expand their fleet of Bi-Levels but that never happened. So if they hate them, I guess that would explain why.
Metra MP36 407 I remember when the first Nippon Sharyo highliners came, the orange schemed highliners were hanging around KYD
Wow, this is like a tram line!
I'm surprised they don't change to LRVs. I doubt this is a high traffic line.
brushcreek42 its semi high traffic its more traffic than the regular UP and bnsf routes but not as much as like the cta
@@matts.996 not the Blue Island Branch, though
Cool! I saw two old metra highliners at blue island in the video
Ok I gotta fever and the only prescription is more railroad crossings!
I will be, Zing Zang Dong, it is single trak.

the train could've derailed
It's a spring switch meaning it's set so a train coming head on can go onto the other track while a train coming from the opposite direction of the switch can go through even if it isn't set for that train
