With coffee brewing it's about time and temperature. All things being equal the "Moccamaster" would make the better coffee. Due to the water temperature and brewing time. Ten minutes is much too long a brewing time for 12 (actually 9 full cups) of coffee. That's why Bunn coffee makers are known to make better coffee. Their water temperature is in the optimum range and the brewing time is around five minutes. Thank you for the review!
That is true. The ninja has nice bells and whistles for convenience but the moccamaster was designed from the ground up to brew coffee(Blooming, water temperature etc) to SCA(Speciality coffee association) standards

Technically they brew at around the same time. The difference in brew time is due to the difference in the water they hold. A single Moccmaster cup is 4 oz, and it brews a max of 40 oz, where as the Ninja cup is 5 oz and brews a total of 60 oz. For this test, he brewed 50z on the Ninja vs 40 oz on the Moccamaster. When you account for the volume difference the brew time is not much different.
I have a Bunn maker and was considering the Ninja. After watching one of these videos I tested the temp of our Bunn and it brewed at bang on 200. Bunn makes a great coffee maker
You're not comparing apples to apples. The Moccasamter KBGV is priced at over $300 while the Ninja CE251 is about $70.
Love your videos! Great delivery! I would like to make a suggestion on the actual coffee. In lieu of using table spoons to measure the coffee, it's best to weigh the coffee (usually in grams) to determine how much to use. Dark-roast coffees weight less than light-roast coffee (due to the roasting removing the moisture from the bean). Before I started measuring, my light roast coffees tasted bitter... measuring the coffee has made a huge difference for me. About 28g of coffee per 4-cups seems to work. Keep up the great work!! P.S. I have the Moccamaster KBGV Select - It's opened my eyes to how coffee should taste!
Gotta say the shower head on the moccamaster looks lacking. Most of the water is towards the left side. But it gets good reviews so who knows.

Hi, i want to buy a good coffe maker that can make a singel cup and a full kettle... like the Ninja DualBrew Pro... do you have any sugestions for good machines?
I can only find that Ninja machin and a Braun MultiServe machines that look kinda ok/good

I have a moccamaster and I can tell you….no way the ninja can brew the perfect cup that the moccamaster can make.
You have the ninja too? Or that statement entirely on your assumptions because you paid so much for it?
Moccamaster are fantastic coffee makers, it the gold standard for drip coffee
