the best place of snow day in Tokyo is Shinjuku Gyoen Park, but it has closed every Monday. Or Tokyo Disney resort is also great place.

Tokyo, Japan is soooo beautiful. The snow takes it to the next level. Nothing like it in the whole world. And unlike most places elsewhere when people are "freaking out" about the weather, Japanese people really take it in stride. There is a lesson to be learned just watching this and better yet, living or visiting Japan.

東京で雪に備えたイルミネーションなんて準備してるわけないから、これは全くの偶然の風景。もともと常なる「光の巷」だもんね。それにしても美しい！雪国の美とはまた違う絢爛豪華さ。
東京で一発大雪になると交通がマヒしてエラいことになるけど、その裏返しにこれほど美しい風景が現出するとは、「雪の東京」観光もアリっちゃアリだね。ただしこれくらいの降雪は今じゃ5年か10年に一度くらい、なおかついつ降るかわからないってのがなあ。
