Very expensive deck. Would love to play this new iteration of curse warlock, but missing Fizzle, Gigafin, and Sir Finley. Might play Thaddeus Warlock from Nohands.
Astalor is a sideboard card and can be safely removed from all but the worst and slowest decks that lack any other win condition than copying astalors and playing them. Giga and finley are not required (playing giga without building around him is actually pretty weak and volatile, and we have abyssal wave to do the same thing). If we play abyssal wave into darkvein combo then the entire board is getting removed whatever happens. I personally like to play Devourer of Souls (also not required, but adds 1 mana-cost to your darkvein combo in exchange for one more cast of your chosen spell) alongside shallow grave to also add one cast to the combo as well as ensure devourer gets the right deathrattle before it dies. It makes for an 8-mana, 3-card darkvein play that casts 4 abyssal spells instead of 2 - a huuuge tempo swing considering how curses work. You could try working some Creepy Paintings in there or maybe a cover artist but that's _a lot_ of setup...
Fizzle is nice for copying some curses or even a whole darkvein combo but honestly isnt required either. Za'Qul and Darkvein are the only "required" legendaries because they are generating curses consistently. I also personally have Ulthok in there and he has straight up won me games. I also run Dar'Khan and Jaraxxus for contingency.
Warlock decks are always expensive and always contain 4-5+ legendaries. Thaddius warlock is not any cheaper unless you already have the cards (mini-set is easy thaddius but that's $$$, mal'ganis in core is only thing keeping thaddius cheaper and most thaddius decks still run gigafin). I would also say that Thaddius lock is way less consistent (playing Chump's version lately). When you get bad draw it's impossible to play - I have way too many turn 4 concedes with that decktype. At least with this deck it's always more-or-less clear what your play is, instead of having to bet on RNG rolls just to have something to play next turn. Might as well play rogue if that level of RNG is your thing...
Sir Finley is such a safe craft imo it goes into so many decks. Same thing with Fizzle even though people thought it wouldn't be played you actually see it in a bunch of decks as well
The play at min 9, judging by the used cards from deck tracker your curses were either at 6 or 7. You could have went for draw 6 and got a curse generator - 2 Dragged Belows and a Cultist left, the chances are pretty high with 3 cards of the 12 remaining winning you the game. In any case great vid as always, love me some curselock

Tried this deck today, if you are type of player who can learn its pretty good, some matchups are tough but overall pretty good

Can confirm 9 games only 1 win against a poor hunter who was trying a homebrew deck, I'm on Diamond 10. You are helpless against aggro, DK's easily control you with all the healing. Even a control priest managed to do the Curse combo better than me with their steals.

@Dan F Nah it's terrible. Hit legend a few times with CW and this deck is straight garbage in the current meta.

Big minions warlock doesn't work in a lot of circumstances. All hail pure curse warlock
while I understand, that ppl mostly want to show their wins, I would consider it helpful to post some loses as well and explain why you lost and what you could have done better. Sure some games you get just run over vs a godlike draw, but I rly think that there are a lot of close games you lose in the end because you make a wrong call. I think it could be very interesting to see also those games
I gotta say. when I watched Kibler‘s lost games, it always felt super boring and disappointing to me. Savjz always explains his decisions well and also makes super good decisions, so I can‘t consider it a problem. Honestly, I think he should just stick to his guns. If he can find *really* nailbiter matches, which are good and interesting to watch, where he ends up losing in the final round - that might be worth putting in every 5 or 10 games or so

Playing this in legend rn and am 14-8 so far. On a 4 loss streak at the moment so gotta take😔feels weak to lady stheno and any deck that decides to stockpile their hand every turn but apart from that, very enjoyable and pretty high skillcap
15% wr for me is a hard deck to navigate...i should have stick with my mage with my 57% wr elleg (still is a fun deck to play)
If you roll your mouse over lady darkvein it shows you which was your last spell :-)
Played 2 games against it with big demon hunter. Lost one won one. I dont really like it^^ Big Demon Hunter is cool :D

I already have a very strong meta breaking curse warlock but it has renathal in it, and it does very well against death knight especially as well as farming aggro decks. th-cam.com/video/tA5e_gmsDTM/w-d-xo.html and i find the extra 5 health surprisingly goes a LONG way, as many times with the 30 card versions i tried i ended up losing by 2 or 3 hp as i was about to stabilise. I will try out this version as my 39 card version was a bit different to Savjz's one.
Lost my first game after a 6 months break @ Bronze 10 with this to a f2p standard deck . Not impressed 😅
This deck looks lots of fun, but doesn't work beyond legend since it can't stop aggression very consistently.

@@azensura read my comment again. I just said this deck was working in the meta of Legend, which is much much slower than outside Legend. At least it was at the time of upload.

I'm unsure of the order these clips were recorded in, but in case the first clip got recorded last, please, please, please, please, please, *PLEASE* don't use the fuckin fire festival nemsy hero portrait or whatever it's called, that shit is so incredibly uncomfortable to look at and I just can't stand it, so if that's the one you've currently got equipped, I beg of you, please switch it out ASAP
my priest deck is unbeatable when it goes against any mage, warlock or lich king deck. it does about 65 to 70 percent against demon hunter about the same with hunter. rogue and priest are about 50/50 with rogue being my biggest bane. ie concoction and secret rogue, but only when i don't get the cards to reverse uno they azz. i don't do "meta". i prefer to think for myself.
