if you have an enemy chasing you and get rid of him but your plane is faster u pull up and the faster plane looses controll later and gets to win the fight just using gravity againts your very worthy opponent
if the soviet pilot would have been slower he would have been basicaly sitting in one place stuck in the air for the german pilot to shoot
thats why the manuver is dangerous

The scene at 3:00 still gets me every time, I love how they loaded the shell in the barrel and the guy commands the gunner to fire which sparks the shell out of the barrel of the gun
What most people don't realize about this trailer is the fact that it is a REAL WORLD situation.
Do you know how old that tiger is? No
Do you know what kind of shell the IS used? No
Do you know what kind of engine the german/Russian plane had? No
Do you know if there was a malfunction in the germans engine? No
Do you know the distance between the tiger and the IS? No
Do you know if the tiger had suffered damage earlier? No
It's a real world situation where everything comes into play, from the wind to the one pipe inside the engine.
So stop bitching about "That german plane is more poweful' blablabla
And seriously guys, what did you expect. They are Russian devs, a Russian company. They already made a trailer with americans. They made a trailer with germans. But when they make a Russian trailer all hell breaks loose because they are proud of their fucking country. Actually not really there are certain things you can do as a ground soldier(or in this case these ground soldiers were infantry units)because there are certain things you can do that you can't do being in a tank or plane and there are certain roles that need to be filled also like anti air,communications,scouting,ect and countries don't have enough money to replace all ground troops with tanks and planes and even if they did it wouldn't make battles any easier

I tried that same method in a game of war thunder so many times thinking I was cool and kept remembering this moment when I did it. Unfortunately I was shot so easily in 2 seconds

I love the little details here. No silly Hollywood fireballs when some vehicle is destroyed, just a Soviet plane losing engine power from its engine burning out, or a German plane losing control from its control surfaces getting shot up. And the way that Soviet plane had its flaps out as it came out of its dive was such an awesome little detail, too.
When playing the game i naturally invented hammerhead maneuver once (you kinda feel the phyiscs eventually) including the flaps part... and i was shocked when i've seen exactly that shown in this trailer. :)

U can see altitude. Below 2000m. That the boundary for ash-82fn soviet engine, where it gets max power and bf-109G had 50kg bomb. Otherwise, such a manoeuvre will be imposible
One of the coolest details is that when the Soviet fighter dives, we can see that the pilot is an Ace (a pilot with over 5 confirmed planes destroyed) as he has 7 stars painted on the side (each star for an enemy plane)

okay shout out to the camera man tho, he filmed no mans land, the trenches, even gone outside for better shots, filmed a tank up close, flew to get the plane shot, entered someone's consciousness for the trench shot, recorded as someone threw a grenade then travelled through lightspeed recording people firing an artillery cannon, even chasing it down, he then goes into creative mode and spectator mode recording the two planes dogfighting, noclips into their cockpits and back out in the matter of seconds, watched several people die, he also got that amazing bomb shot, then landing onto a tank and going inside of out, then out of it, then into its cannon watching as the round flys over the world again, stops time, and then goes into another guys head
