I'm a huge fan of GV, and I've watched dozens of interviews...I've never seen him crankier or more pessimistic...I'm thinking he wasn't well here...she was right to be scared of him, as she said she was...he was still awesome, as always...."New York Times, long may it wrap fish".
The submissive interviewer was almost unbearable. I know that I would have enjoyed a great conversation with Gore Vidal, but that never happened. And if you let a great mind get loose, this is what you get
