Love this video -its a fabulous ship.
Loved this! She's similar to the Iona, but different. We do fancy a Caribbean cruise on Arvia, we love the med so this is great! I oh, tiny car swap!! That boots like a tetras puzzle! The buffet looks as disorganised as Iona! We didn't go for taste 360 either! We loved the quays too. We'd heard about the new booking/reservation time - we only booked our cruise a month before so we'd be in trouble. I'm surprised 2 of the shows on Arvia are the same as Iona? Thats so lovely to hear about your daughter enjoying the kids club and making so many friends. Wow the star button on the lift - didn't know that!! Great overview! Cheers 🍻
Yes Iona and Arvia are very similar with some subtle differences. Sailing on Iona next year to the Canaries and looking forward to that one. P&O look to have confirmed that pre booking of dining now available 120 days before sailing but having some "teething problems" with the system! New show coming to the Arvia in June, current shows been running since the launch I believe. 😀
Enjoy watching your videos, we are on Arvia in June. 😊
Hope you have a wonderful time 😃
Looks great. We go on Iona soon but would love to try Arvia as well in the future. Shame about Taste 360 but we've heard good things about the Quays so look forward to trying that on Iona.
So much choice, there are plenty of good places to eat on Arvia. Enjoy Iona, we are booked on the Iona soon too!😃
Forgot to say that Iona does pizza in the Olive Grove unlike Arvia
Enjoyed the video going on arvia next week
You will have a great time, I am sure 😄.
We are as well, k409. Let’s hope the weather is good… fingers crossed!!
🤞for you
@@maverickgil let’s hope we haven’t had a proper holiday since Covid. So we decided this year was the year to get back too it.. we are also going to the canery islands end of September on the Britannia.
Great and informative video by the way!
@@Hankercheif Great to be back travelling again. Brittania is a nice ship.
Thankyou! 😀
You’re welcome 😊
Hi-great vlog. We are due to go on the Arvia in 2025 . How do you get an early embarkation time? Thanks.
Hi, Embarkation time is partly based on membership of the loyalty club(Peninsular), for example Ligurian and Suite guests will be given the earliest arrival times , followed by Baltic and Caribbean tier. Booking a suite or a mini suite is therefore one way of getting an early boarding time. You can join the "early queue" at the port ,but whether they let you board early will depend on how busy your cruise is . 😄
@@maverickgil That's very helpful-Many thanks-Alan and Cheryl-Plymouth
Thankyou for your advice. We are on Arvia next Sunday. You mentioned the entertainment not in the Headliners theatre and the 7:10 club, are they available to book before you go aboard? Thankyou 😀
Hi, If you go into my p&o cruises for your cruise reference it will show you specifically what entertainment is pre- bookable for your cruise. It is mainly shows that are in the Headliners theatre and the Limelight Club. I believe the 710 is normally booked once on the ship either through the web service or by joining a physical queue each night on a first come first seated basis. I have another vlog "So you booked a cruise!" on the channel which takes you through the pre booking process we went through online for Arvia which might help.😄
Can you do a review on the ports you visited? Thanks
Hi, yes there will be a vlog on some of the ports we visited. Cadiz you can walk off and straight into the city which is lovely, Barcelona and Valencia there is a short shuttle bus ride to the city which are both worth seeing
La Coruna you can also walk off and is a lovely town with shops and a beach. Alicante is also a really nice city with shops and beach with either a reasonable walk or shuttle ride to town and beaches(or a trip to Benidorm).
I love cruise ships but the way P and O treat staff you would have to kick me screaming on to their ships disgusting just sacking staff
Is it perhaps p & o ferries you are thinking of , which is a completely different company ?
It was P&O Ferries that sacked their staff not P&O Cruises. They are two completely different companies with P&O Cruises being owned by Carnival Corporation whereas the Ferries company is owned by DP World. They are not affiliated with each other
