- A booster boxes worth of Paldean Fates Pokemon booster packs are opened in this video. Paldean Fates is the newest set in the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It is a special expansion that includes many shiny Pokemon, shiny Pokemon ex, and Gold ex Pokemon.
I bought these booster packs as a 36-pack lot from Collector's Cache for $169.99.

Hi PTP. Congratulations on baby #2. I used to watch you when I was much younger and have continued watching now because most other modern Pokemon TH-camrs are simply too fast paced and over the top. My grandfather used to do custodial work and he was a man I looked up to very much. Thank you for your hard work both in and outside this channel.

No skipping through cards like pretty much all the other poketubers do and you can just tell how nice and genuine you are. Not to mention you’ve been doing this since 2008!

Congrats on the baby and congrats on the opening! Fantastic stuff. I wasn't sure what to think of this set but I gotta say I'm a fan. The choice of Pokemon for the base baby shiny set is awesome and I love that the borders are textured. They look great.

Great video! Grats on baby #2! and Grats on that Zard! I've pulled the expensive gardevoir ex off cam sadly but! I did pull the really expensive mew on camera! shockingly out of the 3 pack tech sticker bundle! Definitely got a sub and like from me!

I remember when I first saw your video when you were quitting . Haven't collected pokemon cards since series 1 in the 90s lolz but I've just gotten into 151 and I've fallen In love again ! I've just preordered 2 booster boxes of paldean fates . Im excited 😊 great vid mate and happy new years!

That Charizard is so awesome, I've opened the 3 blisters and am just gonna buy the rest of the singles I want from this set. Wish you could have pulled a normal Charizard ex too instead of 3 Gardevoirs!

The SV games brought me back to collecting the TCG after I took a break back in the BW era. Kinda bummed to learned the base collection from this looks to be reprints from the last few SV sets. 😅

You're right about store overpricing these cards. I have a friend that sells the ETBS for $45 even and the 3 pack blisters for $15 even no tax for either at the swaptmeet where I live. Way cheaper than retailers

About half of the cards from the base of the set are reprints.

How come some times there is another card behind that "last" one in the pack but you don't show it? Like at 8:00 there is clearly a card behind that Annihilape...
There is a code card and energy card at the end of each pack.

I wouldn't say there is no reason to not buy from Walmart...if nobody does and there is good cards in those packs, nobody gets them lol.
If Pokémon cards had limited prints, like 1/1 cards out there, then yes, that would make a lot of sense. But there are tons of every card printed.
@@PrimetimePokemon Yes true, but unless you buy those packs you wont know. For all we know every pack at Walmart could have good stuff. If kids can't buy online, may as well go buy from the store.
