We should all start seeing the MTKs (both 12 & 22) in a couple of weeks from now. They are scheduled to ship in April and should arrive beginning in May. It's been a LONG wait for most of us and it is good to see that wait appears to be coming to an end!

the 22mtk might just be my first mixer, either that or fully digital. I like the idea of having the processing and such all in the mixer, and this is almost there... if there was some way to add EQ/Feedback suppression to the monitor/main outputs without rack gear this would be the bee's knees... it still might make a great first step into mixing and would be cheaper than the digitals on my list....
Sir, i am fully impressed with signature mtk 22 for my studio within my budget but the main feature i am missing is the analog inserts for my outboard gears. Is there any possibility of 2nd gen mtk 22 where there will be physical inserts after daw returns. Or is there any other version of hybrid mixer that incudes this feature with similer budget?
DO NOT BUY the USB will fry itself after 12-18 months and unless you're happy with DIY going into your board and replacing broken capacitors Id say it's not worth it. Also not to mention the USB produces 8k and 16k interference spikes. That said, works GREAT in analog if not sing USB or have separate interface defeats the point but that's how I now use it
Iv had nothing but problems with mine. Sent it back to soundcraft loads of time. Works for about 20 mins then shuts down. Should've saved up a bit more and got a mackie desk instead.
This really covers many of my recording needs and it seems to bridge well the analog world with the computer world. It's got many nice features and I've heard a few youtube recordings done with the Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK and the quality is amazing! Great product Soundcraft. I can't wait to own one.
Fair play this is an awesome product. The 12 MTK looks ideal for smaller project studios. Hopefully the USB latency and reliability is up to scratch and then we can think of condensing soundcard+mixer which never really happened with the Mackie Onyx & Zed series. Would be interesting to do live mixes coming back from your DAW.

After a LOOOONG digging in the internet before buing MTK 12 - I've grown to overcome a lot of its flaws, but one is just unnacceptable. HOW on earth master fader is connected to headphone amp? I can not monitor with headphones unless i turn off my studio monitors - which, after getting used to Zoom U-44 super fast on/off switch is just... I don't know, what the hell is that XD

I’ve been looking for something like the 12 MTK recently, I have a few questions about it’s basic use in a live band setting. I get the 12 in the name comes from the number of inputs, but if you look at actual channels strips there’s only 9 that you can use simultaneously. But as we don’t use phonos that leaves 8 usable channels for mic/instruments. Aux out is important to us, looking at the controls while I see three aux outs for monitors, there are only two dedicated controls. The third is split with fx, so I’m guessing that if you use all three aux outs you loose fx so no reverb for vocals ? Can you have a custom mix to headphones or is it just main mix. When recording in multitrack, are each of the 8 available channels sent as independent mono tracks to the daw, I’ve heard it only sends stereo pairs ? Is there any feedback control for ringing out monitors etc Just want to make sure I know if this mixer will meet our needs for live four piece rock band gigs.
Hi, i'm novice in recording. Can I record all channels separately (via the MTK on my computer) and during playback control EQs of each channels by the MTK ? I should then reinject final settings and record again by the stereo master ? It's hard for me. Thank you maybe for your help ! Best, Romain

Mas me interessa e muito poder controlar a DAW pelos faders da mesa. Mas eu não queria gravar pela mesa, não queria usar ela como interface e sim a minha Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (3rd Gen). A dúvida é: - Será que eu consigo fazer essas duas coisas? Gravar (inputs) pela Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (3rd Gen) mas controlar os faders (outputs) pela Soundcraft Signature 22MTK? Ou eu sou obrigado a usar a mesa como interface se quiser usá-la como controladora também? A great vid. Very well done. I have a question about EQing on this mixer. On the HMF and LMF sweep knobs on each channel, what frequencies do the tick marks represent? For example, the LMF sweep knob starts at 80Hz, the mid point is 400Hz, and max is 2kHz; however, there are 4 tick marks between each of these points. What are these frequencies? Same for the HMF knob. What is the frequency of each tick mark? I've looked all over the internet for this info and can't find it. Any thoughts?

Dub Gabriel It samples at 24-bit, 48kHz, but sometimes, it's whats in front of the A/D that counts. We have proper Soundcraft Ghost pres that sound gorgeous!
I own the board and am setting it up now. Quick question: In the Control Panel>Manage Audio Devices - what do you have set to "Default Device" and "Default Communication Device" under the Playback tab. Also - what do you have set to both of those items under the Recording Tab? I tried what the Record guide suggested and the audio is horrible. I chose 1&2 on both and it cleans up but I cannot record a darn thing.
I purchased the Signature 12 (non MTK) to use in a Live gaming environment. How do I go about connecting a DBX286S channel strip to the Mixer and feeding it back into Channel 1 where my vocal mic is connected please? I want to use the excellent low noise Ghost pre-amps to add gain to my mic and some minor Eq first then send that to the DBX's compressor then send it back to the mixer and then via usb it goes to my PC. Thank you
I've had this mixer for several months and it worked ok in win7 but in windows 10, it stops working every single day. I spent ALL day stressing and trouble shooting every sound option imaginable to get this thing to work and finally did for a short time. next day (today) wake up to another issue. It's every day and I am selling it. So if you want a full time job of trying to keep this thing running. Enjoy!

The sensitivity or headroom of XLR inputs 7/8 & 9/10 (those with high breed stereo 1/4" TS inputs) of Signature 12MTK are higher than the XLR inputs 1-6. Any logical explanation to that?

+Ed Solo yup it's a wopper of a mistake right there - I mean how can it not have inserts ? I was so excited about this mixer and have been waiting for them to be in stock somewhere, but as time has passed I've calmed down and begun to realise that whilst it has some great features, it is severely lacking in connectivity. No inserts, no direct analog outputs, one headphone output, no control room outputs, no matrix outputs or capabilities, no individual phantom power - just global, no proper xlr outputs / inputs except the main mix (and mics of course). And no usb3 ??? I mean come on ! No proper lamp connector - just a usb one which we all know is a very flimsy connection at best when used with a usb gooseneck lamp. I can maybe work with the 12 for little jobs, but the 22 just doesn't cut it for me since its so crippled in terms of connectivity. I guess I'l have to wait for the version 2 with a proper back panel full of connections. Shame - this could have been great.
@modokch - These are really good points... but likely its just about the money I think...Otherwise, we should just get a Midas Venice U16 right? ...but it's twice the price plus. Think about the cost of the alternative? Analogue desk, patch bay, cables, multi input interface of high quality pre's, outboard signal processors, etc.. I just feel the point here is to have all in one box, some mics and a few cables. Done. ...then process ITB, while getting the analogue warmth maybe? All under 8 hundo. (I fully understand you are also saying that they do have the capability of building this magic bullet you speak of, but then how could they have 4-8 product lines, each with variable amenities. haha, but we are not people anymore, we are a "market sector". For me ("market sector 3b" - or whatever..) its perfect. Live recording @venue or in studio, mix later on the desk with ITB inserts, master ITB. All for 8 hundo)
Yeha that's fair comment - it really does depend on what you want to do with it. I would have bought the venice u32 in a breath but sadly they put the power supply inside it instead of in a separate rack mounted unit, so of course they had to put cooling fans in there too, which makes it useless for home studio use. Since the power supplies have a bit of a habit of frying they can be a bit risky to use live too, since it's not possible to carry a spare. Still a great desk though - would love one if not for the fan noise.
I got the sig22 mtk, and I like it but need to figure how to bring it out to the board after recording... Did a quick 2 hour session today but bass was too boomy etc.. live recording is my thing right now.. Sounded pretty warm though, so Im happy so far..got to figure this thing out with my DAW.
The USB returns on my MTK 22 will not provide a live duplex signal. I have all of the channel routing on my DAW I/O software configured correctly with the Soundcraft ASIO driver but can only get recorded tracks to playback through the USB returns on the mixing console. It is not switchable/will not return a USB signal from my DAW while live monitoring or recording, only during playback. I spent about 12 solid hours troubleshooting this using the manual and online forums etc. and still came up empty.
I have pre-ordered my Signature10 mixer at the end of February 2015, will use it for small live solo or duo gigs and some amateur home studio recordings as well. I'm from Canada, any idea when I will receive the mixer? Been waiting for a while now, can't wait to put it to work and see what that small unit can really do.
Finally got my Signature 10 last January, 2016. I was told that I was one of the lucky ones to get it so early in Canada. If you are interested, I have posted my full review of the mixer in another post under this video.
Really nice boards, but try to get one. I ordered a signature 12 in late June. My shipping date is now MID September. As of 8/1/15 they are no where to be found. I hope the wait is worth it . .

Help, I have a SIgn 10 and tried to hook up to my DAW, sonar Producer/XP but it keeps saying it cant load the drivers. Is it because I have XP? It recognizes that I have hooked it up but won't link it in. What am I doing wrong?
There is no off and on switch absolutely pathetic. Specialy when the Power cord runs Under neith the mixer. They made a good mixer and destroy it. Who ever made the unit like this. Should be sacked and working at McDonald's.
This is the perfect minimalist set up for a small studio. Truly all in one. I am able to get rid all the junk gears and cables.

The delays offered in the effects-are total garbage. Cheap, repeating karoake delays. Horrible. My only gripe with the board.

This thing is LOADED with usb problems from interface spikes on your master to the USB port frying itself due to an issue with the PSU

Also - what do you have set to both of those items under the Recording Tab? I tried what the Record guide suggested and the audio is horrible. I chose 1&2 on both and it cleans up but I cannot record a darn thing.
I purchased the Signature 12 (non MTK) to use in a Live gaming environment. How do I go about connecting a DBX286S channel strip to the Mixer and feeding it back into Channel 1 where my vocal mic is connected please?
I want to use the excellent low noise Ghost pre-amps to add gain to my mic and some minor Eq first then send that to the DBX's compressor then send it back to the mixer and then via usb it goes to my PC. Thank you
I've had this mixer for several months and it worked ok in win7 but in windows 10, it stops working every single day. I spent ALL day stressing and trouble shooting every sound option imaginable to get this thing to work and finally did for a short time. next day (today) wake up to another issue. It's every day and I am selling it. So if you want a full time job of trying to keep this thing running. Enjoy!

The sensitivity or headroom of XLR inputs 7/8 & 9/10 (those with high breed stereo 1/4" TS inputs) of Signature 12MTK are higher than the XLR inputs 1-6. Any logical explanation to that?

Is there someone I can call and ask questions during I am setting it up? I have a guitar into it and driven through the rook - quite loud. But - nothing shows on the VU and no sound goes into the computer.

+miropajic The Signature series is shipping now! The MTKs will be available in very early 2016! not long to wait now. We had to take some time out to fix some issues but now they are spot on! You are truly getting something special, we took our time to make it perfect!

I was so excited about this mixer and have been waiting for them to be in stock somewhere, but as time has passed I've calmed down and begun to realise that whilst it has some great features, it is severely lacking in connectivity. No inserts, no direct analog outputs, one headphone output, no control room outputs, no matrix outputs or capabilities, no individual phantom power - just global, no proper xlr outputs / inputs except the main mix (and mics of course). And no usb3 ??? I mean come on ! No proper lamp connector - just a usb one which we all know is a very flimsy connection at best when used with a usb gooseneck lamp.
I can maybe work with the 12 for little jobs, but the 22 just doesn't cut it for me since its so crippled in terms of connectivity. I guess I'l have to wait for the version 2 with a proper back panel full of connections. Shame - this could have been great.
@modokch - These are really good points... but likely its just about the money I think...Otherwise, we should just get a Midas Venice U16 right? ...but it's twice the price plus.
Think about the cost of the alternative? Analogue desk, patch bay, cables, multi input interface of high quality pre's, outboard signal processors, etc..
I just feel the point here is to have all in one box, some mics and a few cables. Done.

(I fully understand you are also saying that they do have the capability of building this magic bullet you speak of, but then how could they have 4-8 product lines, each with variable amenities. haha, but we are not people anymore, we are a "market sector". For me ("market sector 3b" - or whatever..) its perfect. Live recording @venue or in studio, mix later on the desk with ITB inserts, master ITB. All for 8 hundo)
Yeha that's fair comment - it really does depend on what you want to do with it. I would have bought the venice u32 in a breath but sadly they put the power supply inside it instead of in a separate rack mounted unit, so of course they had to put cooling fans in there too, which makes it useless for home studio use. Since the power supplies have a bit of a habit of frying they can be a bit risky to use live too, since it's not possible to carry a spare. Still a great desk though - would love one if not for the fan noise.
I got the sig22 mtk, and I like it but need to figure how to bring it out to the board after recording... Did a quick 2 hour session today but bass was too boomy etc.. live recording is my thing right now.. Sounded pretty warm though, so Im happy so far..got to figure this thing out with my DAW.
Can we use the remaining not mic but only line channel for guitar and trumpet.
The USB returns on my MTK 22 will not provide a live duplex signal. I have all of the channel routing on my DAW I/O software configured correctly with the Soundcraft ASIO driver but can only get recorded tracks to playback through the USB returns on the mixing console. It is not switchable/will not return a USB signal from my DAW while live monitoring or recording, only during playback. I spent about 12 solid hours troubleshooting this using the manual and online forums etc. and still came up empty.

I have pre-ordered my Signature10 mixer at the end of February 2015, will use it for small live solo or duo gigs and some amateur home studio recordings as well. I'm from Canada, any idea when I will receive the mixer? Been waiting for a while now, can't wait to put it to work and see what that small unit can really do.
Finally got my Signature 10 last January, 2016. I was told that I was one of the lucky ones to get it so early in Canada. If you are interested, I have posted my full review of the mixer in another post under this video.
Really nice boards, but try to get one. I ordered a signature 12 in late June. My shipping date is now MID September. As of 8/1/15 they are no where to be found.

Help, I have a SIgn 10 and tried to hook up to my DAW, sonar Producer/XP but it keeps saying it cant load the drivers. Is it because I have XP? It recognizes that I have hooked it up but won't link it in. What am I doing wrong?

There is no off and on switch absolutely pathetic. Specialy when the Power cord runs Under neith the mixer. They made a good mixer and destroy it. Who ever made the unit like this. Should be sacked and working at McDonald's.
