Bought this juicer after dealing with a $40-$60 Hamilton from Walmart. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. The amount of juice I get out of this Nama is amazing, and so helpful for my work life. I make nut milks. I make juices. I make sorbets. And I watch a lot of FullyRawKristina videos and Joe you’re an inspiration. Thank you so much for helping to produce this product, because it was absolutely worth every single penny.
MissSteele carrots, beets?? So you really like this juicer? How long have you had it? I’ve had an omega for 12 plus years and the replacement parts have become such cheap quality, I want to replace it with a better machine but there are so many choices!!! I don’t want to make a mistake, thank you for all your answers and input!!
MRN W of course! I’ll try to help. I researched juicers for months before I bought this one, and I almost went with the Hurom, but something just really stuck with me for this juicer. It 1) has a beautiful design, 2) you get tons of juice due to the slow press which i LOVE (meaning it’s not harming the nutrients in the foods you put in it) and 3) it’s easy to clean and despite there being a few parts, not a hassle at all because they are smaller. (Also it’s pretty quiet compared to most juicers I’ve seen. Still has some noise, but I could easily have a conversation with someone while being in the kitchen with it on) Beets EASILY run through this juicer, just make sure to dice them into quarters :). Carrots are easy too, but I still recommend cutting them in half. And don’t be afraid of how much pulp comes out. I promise you’re getting as much juice as you can out of them. The pulp will still have a small amount of moisture when it comes out, but compared to every other juicer out there, it’s basically bone dry so I get the hype. I run everything through this juicer. Apples, celery, carrots, beets, tomatoes, spinach, kale, romaine, ginger & tumeric root at large thumbs, grapes, pineapple (and I mean lots of pineapple), lemons, limes, oranges, blueberries, strawberries. Anything that I’m feeling for the day. (Although most of the time I freeze my strawberries and blueberries and mangos and peaches, and then run them through the sorbet strainer and get instant vegan icecream! SO GOOD) Ontop of that all, I make nut milks every week :). Cashew, almond, and hazelnut. I know this might not be the best recommendation, but I use the regular juice strainer for these, just so I can get less pulp in the nut milk, even after I strain them to make sure they are smooth. There is a nut milk strainer though and it works good. I just prefer the other because when you add 4 cups of water, per 1 cup of overnight soaked nuts, the pulp basically comes out as butter almost or something you could easily make into cashew cream or nut butters or even vegan cheeses! All in all, I absolutely adore this juicer. I use it a ton, so I may wear it down too quick, but even if I broke it, I would always buy this one over and over again. Worth every Penny. I especially love the handle that is where the juice comes out, to close it so it doesn’t drip on my counter. Super helpful and really cool to mix the juice inside the juicer before you pour it out. 🙏
I love my Nama juicer. My husband and I eat lots of veggies anyway, so for me the cost of a few more veggies just offsets the cost of the groceries I would have bought for breakfast and lunch.
I am worried about what my skin will look like after losing the weight I need to lose. I am 5'1 and weigh 260. I plan to lose it all any suggestions on how to avoid wrinkled saggy skin

MissSteele do you have to chop everything really small?
MRN W not very small! It all depends on what you’re juicing at the time. Anything in particular you are thinking of?
