I remember the first time I tried to watch One Piece. I dropped it at episode 3 cuz I thought that it was too long and I didn’t know how a 900+ episode series about pirates was interesting. Later, I gave it a second chance and I got hooked at the Arlong Park. Now One Piece is undoubtedly my 🐐.

Living in Tokyo ghoul wouldn’t be that bad. I’d assume your chances of running into a ghoul are about the same as running into a serial killer maybe less so it doesn’t really come close to any of the other ones as it is relatively normal for most people

I don't know how people can't enjoy the first 50 eps of One Piece when Arlong Park Arc is right there.
For real. They probably see either the episode length or animation and decide to not watch it.
It took me a lil bit to get into OP, had to take a LOT of breaks but I love it now. The story is magnificent and the characters are 🐐.
It’s probably as someone who hasn’t seen one piece. The massive episode list and still going it’s kind of like joining a race to the top of Mount Everest at the bottom when everyone else is at the top when it doesn’t stop getting taller

Today i realized more than ever why i love this channel, love of One Piece, Gohan being your fav dbz character and the love and respect for yuyu hakusho. Im basically watching myself lol

Many people overlook Gon as a Character, yes he is simple but that's why he is so genius he is not some generic Hero but what do you expect? He grew up safe and sound on an Island with his aunt and when the series started he went out on an adventure to find his dad. This is where he gets to know the World and its cruelties but he never went and said "ohhhh i have to save everyone" he really doesn't give a shit (his best friend is an assassin that killed before his eyes) he only cares about it if he or his friends are threatened which is just realistic, he doesn't care about right or wrong he only cares about what's close to him, he isn't a hero he's just a kid (11 when the series started 12 now) sure HxH isn't exactly normal but you get my point. Kurapika on the other hand saw his whole clan getting slaughtered and left alone he set out for revenge, he grew up with these feelings and they are clearly more and more consuming him. So in my Opinion both Gon and Kurapika are very well-written Characters that maybe arent complex to understand but I mean they don't have to be complex to be great characters.

2:28 part 7 of jojo is something to be hyped about when it get's animated, just imagine a cross-country race with horses in 19th century with mysteries being uncover in the race, the reason why this race was made, and stand fights during the race.

Dragon Ball Z and Super have extremely underrated plots and stories. It may not be the most complex but it is damn good. It has very little plot holes. It has very good character development in each arc. And the sagas are very well crafted where previous issues come to head like Vegeta in the majin buu saga returning to evil as he has hidden in his heart from his inadequacy towards Goku. It’s far greater than most people realize and I wish more people would appreciate it. There is a reason Dragon Ball has stuck around for decades and has literal generations of fans all around the world

Dragon ball is an absolute masterpiece,thats why it's my 4th favorite anime
It's underated because people say it has no plot, but it's definitely not good. And it has little plot holes because most stuff is very basic and surface level or just have no explanation.
Dragon Ball is not great because of its plot.

I grew up with One Piece and I will always say it's the GOAT of Anime. One Piece formed my personality, got me through tough times, and taught me life lessons. Every time I hear someone say One Piece is garbage, I'm responding to them telling them that it's the Greatest.
Keep spreading the good word. I grew up with Naruto, but fully got into one piece during high school.
One Piece might be one of the greatest, if not, the greatest anime.

That doesn’t sound good in real life at all. Not on a resume, a backstory, or anything else. Like I said no hate to you, but hearing that literally made me physically cringe. If an anime can be the GOAT, it’s certainly not one piece. I’d say one piece is a contender for best manga though.

after 700+ episode of one piece i'm tired as hell, the 2 min of openings, 5 min of recap and 10 min of episode (half of the episode they are watching each other with music to fill the time to be able to make this anime longer). But I have to admit before the 2 years skip it was one of my favorite anime.

I got tired of the long openings and recaps too, just skip those and watch the rest on like 1.5 speed. Caught up to 975 like 3 months after I started the show. Ik I was about to drop the anime too especially during the dressrosa arc. Too dragged out and don’t get me started with cake island arc. 3 minutes intro. 10 minute recap on big mom. And then the rest of the show. Like really? 9 minutes of an actual episode? Thank god I had premium so I had no ads because if I did, I would have definitely dropped the anime

Aot was my first anime. So it’s got nostalgia and hxh was my 5th. But I generally enjoyed aot more to where I ended up loving the manga. It was just so great and in my opinion the way the ending was built up was beautiful. You already kinda knew how it was gonna end cause of hints here and there.

I completely feel you on telling people to watch one piece I'm the same way but "That may be ep1 that may be ep 500" lmfaooo i dont think its gonna take that long. As long as they viewer connect with 3/4 character off the bat the show is sold to them imo. Atleast for me after finishing naruto I didnt wanna watch any other anime since i always compare it to naruto since i watched only 3 or 4 anime at that time. But after watching a youtube video "Animes you need to watch before you die" or something along that line i watched ep1 of one piece in dub and the opening and ending alone sold me on the show and i fell in love with the characters easily because how good the backstory for each of them was.
I definitely feel where you are coming from. One Piece just has so many opportunities to get hooked so it's nearly impossible to not find it unless you stop too soon haha

I'm currently in the dressrosa arc which is EPIC! Sometimes I felt like I should just drop it :( but I was patient. Few episodes will be boring but when the showdown occurs you won't be able to take your eyes off it! If anyone is wondering if they want to start one piece or not, my answer is yes! Because the longer you wait the wider the gap will become! :( So just give it a shot!
You have to push through. The current arc is awesome and if you make it through the current episodes you won't be disappointed

Yeah vegeta literally turned from a proud asshole to a slightly less proud asshole who actually made a family with the race he looked down upon so much. Even went as far to sacrifice himself for his family. Goku has always been goku

Tokyo ghoul world is easily the best one it probably isn’t that common to just run into a ghoul so your chances of survival are pretty high especially compared to the others
I probably would’ve said FairyTail, then AOT, the HxH, then either Naruto or Bleach. I personally liked Bleach more and it’s still ongoing but Naruto (OG especially) was such a great show...
My starter anime was fairy tail purely cause my older sister forced everyone she knew to watch back when i was like 8 years old. Crazy how long its stuck with me
I unironicaly think fairy tail is decent a good amount of the time and I'd even go so far as to say it's better than ... Naruto. I binged both these anime recently a couple years ago (But stopped at like 320ish in dairy tail as the arc messed up a lot of the story, especially Zerefs character. Zeref had the potential to be as good as say Johan as a villain ( I think he really impressed me.) Also I started it expecting to absolutely hate it, and at times I did and I got bored in some moments while other arcs were absolutely amazing. Fairy tails strongest suit is it's characters as the guy can create amazing designs for characters that surpasses even JoJos and can rival even that of One Piece in character wackiness and design. I'd give it a 7.8/10. In case you're wondering, I have no 10/10 shows and my top 5 is:
1)One Piece: 9.57/10
2)Gintama: 9.05/10
3) HxH 9.00/10
4) Magi 8.97/10
5)Vinland Saga: 8.9/10
Also I don't hate or dislike Naruto, I actually quite like it. Maybe because I watched OP right after it, it dulled it as it pales a lot in comparison. Also I'm not done with bleach (ep272 rn)
But I'd remove FT, YYH, Bleach and Naruto.
