I taught my cats how to do dog tricks. My boy didn't realize he was a cat and not a dog 99% of the time. He even had his own bark. My girl did tricks, but she was more cat like than dog like. I adopted a 3 year old cat from a shelter 2 weeks ago, and he follows me around the house like a lost puppy dog, and lets me know when he wants to play with the laser pointer by putting both his front paws on my legs and meowing in this low gravelly voice. He's the only one who does this. I have 2 other cats.
My cat was raised with dogs so she wags her tail, gives kisses, comes when called, loves dogs but hates other cats, and tries to bark and growl at the mailman. I'll never forget the look on the mailman's face when he realized my chihuahua and the CAT were barking at him. He laughed all the way back down the street!😸
