I'm so happy for Belinda Carli you tube lectures. many of my patients and unfortunately to mention licenced professionals are confused about ingredients toxicological profile and sadly to say especially hairstylist give wrong advise to their customers about the use of hair products with SLS. In this particular presentation Belinda clearly explain the facts about SLS so I just email the link to her presentation to my patients. Second opinion on subjects are helpful! I admire Belinda on her energy and great work she has been doing for a long time not just for the formulators of PC products as well for the consumers.

Once again, great video. I am a Cosmetic Chemist and a Formulator in the US. I see so much fear based on poor Science. My clients get exposed to it and they know they must address it in some manner. It is great to see a trained Cosmetic Chemist present this videos in such an effective manner and address any misinformation. As a Chemist also, I watched the entire video and agreed with every single fact. GOOD INFORMATION. Take it in.

Hi, belinda. Thank you for this video, so useful and informative. I would like to ask, about 1,4 dioxane since there is a new rules about this issue in my country :
    1. At the 4:42 you said that there are two processing method that used by manufacturer to limit 1,4 dioxane containing, what the method is it, if I may know?
    2. Could the method totally remove the 1,4 dioxane containing the product?
    3. Just wondering, is there any other method to produce PEG instead of ethoxylation? Or is it an absolute method to manufacture the PEG in a mass amount?
Again, thank you very much for you and your team 🤗

Hi Gurnanda, there is vaccuum stripping which is the most popular method - check with your suppliers for the method they use to remove it specifically. Hope this helps!
