My editing software is acting very strangely which is the reason why I couldn't upload this right away. I'm currently having a rendering issue, which is why the last minute and a half of this video is cut off. But it's too much of a hassle to re-render the video for the 4th time so I'm going to leave this video as is, unfortunately (I'm sorry !!).
I think wayv's focus currently is being a global group.. hence the more English songs. When they were in Japan concert they sang mostly the Japanese songs which was a hit.The set lists had japanese song mostly. In China they promoted the mandarin songs set list,again did so well. I think when they come to promote in Europe and USA they will focus on the English songs mostly. What's confusing is even though they have korean songs they haven't gotten a breakthrough in korea!! I wonder why?? Am crossing my fingers to have an all English album soon..😊
You know their song reminds me of the 90s boy band and hip-hop group. Frequency feels like H.O.T. old songs as well. High Five reminds me of Nsync and BSB, Twist is such a sexy song helllo latin pop a whole vibe and then we got WayV yearning in Call Me 😭😭😭 a fan fave bc of their vocals. Filfthy Rich is like No Scrubs to meee. This is actually one of their strongest mini album for me and it showed so much of their growth and how much WayV can do. 🥺 Thanks for doing the reaction vid too.
I forgot to mention in the video, but I really am bummed out that Winwin is still part of the comebacks, it feels as though SM is trying to exclude Winwin in every way because of the fact that they don't even have Winwin take part in the songs themselves.
No one really knows what's going on with Winwin. He doesn’t seem to be rooting for the group in come back, and WayV doesn’t mention him either, which is very strange. What is the company trying to do? Is this some kind of punishment for him having his own company?
i didn’t even know he has his own company, if that is the case then SM is probably pulling the same strings they did when Jessica started her own company without it being connected to SM.
Update: I looked into what's going on with WinWin, and apparently WinWin's company doesn't seem to be going against SM's wishes as SM announced that Winwin started his own company themselves so I assume that situation is fine, but it seems that WinWin was recently treated at a hospital for some condition that was not specified. I hope WinWin will be alright, and it would be nice if SM was vocal about WinWin as well.
I got stuck listening to call me but I kinda agree with u about the rap part, the first time I listened to it, I fast forward it because I didn't like how the rap sounded
