- HERMITCRAFT SEASON 8 HAS BEGUN in Minecraft 1.17: Caves and Cliffs! Hermitcraft Season 8 Episode One has Mumbo joining Grian on some early Hermitcraft Server adventures. Then building a Minecraft Starter Base in the Hermitcraft village with GoodTimesWithScar, ImpulseSV, Grian and PearlescentMoon. We also build some Tiny Minecraft Farms, add a Noteblock song, a Minecraft Super Smelter and do some Mining using new Minecraft 1.17 Mining techniques.. All in one Hermitcraft episode!

The new season of hermitcraft is just gonna be Mumbo trying to find new ways to “technically” not commit any murders
Fully automatic mob farms technically never make you kill a mob.

To be fair, I'm very similar to Grian in this concept. Me and my friends play a lot of survival and I'm always the one speedrunning to kill the dragon just to get an elytra.

Cooked Pork Chop. A Hoglin Farm is really amazing. You can get crazy amount of Cooked Pork Chop and Leather and the more the platforms of spawning the Hoglins, the better it gets.

@@IrisGacha not trying to be rude, but it genuinely surprises me how many people can't do it.
so here is a basic tutorial:
1. go to the nether
2. find a nether fortress (if you can't (and don't care about skipping right to it without /locate), use the website chunkbase and ender the world seed.)
3. go to a warped forest and farm ender pearls OR mine nether gold high up where you're ready to take on piglins, then distract them with gold and trade with them.
4. go home
5. get either:
A. full iron
B. full diamond
(if you're on java edition, look up the clay method.) (for 1.17 there is a different version of it tho, so highly useful for 1.16)
6 (OPTIONAL). enchant
7 (OPTIONAL). if you have diamond, upgrade some stuff to netherite
8. get a bed (no seriously, this is probably the most important thing)
9. get a water bucket and some food
10. dump everything that is not armor, a sword, a pickaxe, a bow, water, food, cobblestone, or the bed in a chest
11. find the end portal (through eyes of ender or chunkbase)
12. set the bed down and right click it to set the spawnpoint (in older versions, you may need to wait for the night to sleep)
13. go in the end and start towering up one of the towers as quick as you can, if the dragon fires try to bridge out to the side then go up again.
14. staying behind as many blocks as you can, hit the end crystal
15. shoot as many end crystals as you can
16. either water bucket down or try to constantly place blocks under your fall
17. take out the caged crystals by hand
18. repeat number 16 after each caged crystal
19. now it is time to actually focus on the dragon, start running around the end dimension until it starts coming down to the center. shooting it with a bow during this time is encouraged.
20. once it is at the bedrock, get in the bedrock and slap its neck with your sword
21. repeat 19 & 20
22. profit
23. realize you spent time writing 23 not-so-simple-steps just because of one youtube reply
EDIT: if you die in the end, rush back in the portal and retrieve your stuff

Now here's Wonderwall.
Love the gameplay style this season, with the tiny home and chill vibes. No, you don’t need to replant every tree you grow, just the originals you chopped that naturally generated. A cool idea would be if you reserved a huge plot of land and dedicated it to a wildlife preserve area where no one can kill animals or chop trees. You can be the chill hippie with the Hawaiian shirt that runs the place haha could be fun …maybe some minecart tours with banjo music

At least it explains the amount of iron Mumbo used to build a super smelter in his day one starter base. I usually take half a week to get to the point when i feel i have enough for one or two hoppers.

I'm fairly new to Minecraft so I like the super smelter design as well.
