Authentic Church teaching NEVER deified, Mary, Mother of God. She referred to the Lord as her Savior and she knew full well her status as a creature, a created being. She is to be REVERED as a perfect model of all the virtues and appealed to as a constant, maternal intercessor. There are two erroneous and heretical views of the Mother of the Word Made Flesh: one is to dismiss her as irrelevant or to equate her with the Holy Trinity. It makes perfect logical and theological sense to appeal to the pinnacle of creation: the one and ONLY perfect human person for assistance to remain on the narrow path.
The KJV bible says : Luke 1:28, And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the LORD is with thee, blessed art thou among women. It doesn't say full of grace. It says highly favored. There is only 1 verse in the whole bible about full of grace and it's about Jesus. John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Also , Mary was blessed " among ' woman. Not ' above ' women. We love the real Mary of the Bible, not the Queen of heaven spoken only of in the book of Jeremiah.

The other thing I can't find is where it says there is no salvation outside the catholic church. Better yet I can't find where the bible says anything about Christ founding a Roman catholic church. Not Matthew 16, not anywhere. It's rather hilarious that Jesus being Jewish, of a Jewish mother, with Jewish apostles would found a RCC. There is absolutely nothing in scripture to confirm that Jesus, Mary, peter or the other apostles were ever roman catholic. That is your biggest problem. In fact in his epistles, Peter contradicts roman catholic doctrines. None of those "actors" ever believed or taught roman catholic doctrines or dogmas. So your church was founded on the false premise that peter and the apostles were roman catholic. No biblical proof whatsoever. They weren't catholic just because the church falsely claims they were.
Almighty God chose to redeem us and make us His own by the sole blood of Christ. Mary has NOTHING to do with our mediation. She has NEVER once heard a prayer from anyone. She was just a human, chosen by God to do a specific job. If she is in heaven, she is there because she put her trust and faith in the blood of Jesus. Don't go by what man says, but by what the BIBLE says.
The same Church that put the Canon of the Bible together has always taught otherwise. Mary was immaculately conceived (by the power of Christ) and all graces come to us through her hands, the same way that Jesus came to us through her. As St. Louis de Montfort says, compared to God she is less than an atom, but she is still more holy than all the Saints and Angels combined. She is the Queen of Heaven and you can't get to Heaven without her.

We don't think you're shouting Jerry. But just ask Jesus what he wants you to do in regard to His Mother. God is the end of our prayers and devotions. We pray and intercede for each other, but Saints do it much better. Especially the Blesses Virgin Mary, who we give a special devotion as the Mother of God. She keeps nothing for herself. The graces and favors that she obtains for us come from God, and she is only special because God made her special. He has exalted the humble, and cast down the mighty from their throne. She was a humble handmaid of God, and a housewife, but God created her to have a very special role in our Salvation. Ask Jesus.
Jerry Poeschel We Catholics do follow the Bible in our belief in Mary's role- For one - Christ changes water into wine answering the kind request of his mother who mediates for the family at the wedding of Cana. We DO believe that Mary is only human and needed the blood of Christ to preserve her from sin. Mary did not just give birth to Christ as if she were simply a surrogate mother! Jesus lived under her in obedience for 30 years. Mary was also actively present and involved at the crucifixion and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. I hope you consider your mother's giving birth to you as more than just a "job"; the Mother of Christ is surely worthy of the greatest honour; it's all there in the Scriptures

Authentic Church teaching NEVER deified, Mary, Mother of God. She referred to the Lord as her Savior and she knew full well her status as a creature, a created being. She is to be REVERED as a perfect model of all the virtues and appealed to as a constant, maternal intercessor. There are two erroneous and heretical views of the Mother of the Word Made Flesh: one is to dismiss her as irrelevant or to equate her with the Holy Trinity. It makes perfect logical and theological sense to appeal to the pinnacle of creation: the one and ONLY perfect human person for assistance to remain on the narrow path.

It says highly favored. There is only 1 verse in the whole bible about full of grace and it's about Jesus. John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Also , Mary was blessed " among ' woman. Not ' above ' women. We love the real Mary of the Bible, not the Queen of heaven spoken only of in the book of Jeremiah.

The other thing I can't find is where it says there is no salvation outside the catholic church. Better yet I can't find where the bible says anything about Christ founding a Roman catholic church. Not Matthew 16, not anywhere. It's rather hilarious that Jesus being Jewish, of a Jewish mother, with Jewish apostles would found a RCC. There is absolutely nothing in scripture to confirm that Jesus, Mary, peter or the other apostles were ever roman catholic. That is your biggest problem. In fact in his epistles, Peter contradicts roman catholic doctrines. None of those "actors" ever believed or taught roman catholic doctrines or dogmas. So your church was founded on the false premise that peter and the apostles were roman catholic. No biblical proof whatsoever. They weren't catholic just because the church falsely claims they were.
Almighty God chose to redeem us and make us His own by the sole blood of Christ. Mary has NOTHING to do with our mediation. She has NEVER once heard a prayer from anyone. She was just a human, chosen by God to do a specific job. If she is in heaven, she is there because she put her trust and faith in the blood of Jesus. Don't go by what man says, but by what the BIBLE says.
The same Church that put the Canon of the Bible together has always taught otherwise. Mary was immaculately conceived (by the power of Christ) and all graces come to us through her hands, the same way that Jesus came to us through her. As St. Louis de Montfort says, compared to God she is less than an atom, but she is still more holy than all the Saints and Angels combined. She is the Queen of Heaven and you can't get to Heaven without her.
They are blessed THROUGH her, not BY her. There is a HUGE difference.

We don't think you're shouting Jerry. But just ask Jesus what he wants you to do in regard to His Mother. God is the end of our prayers and devotions. We pray and intercede for each other, but Saints do it much better. Especially the Blesses Virgin Mary, who we give a special devotion as the Mother of God. She keeps nothing for herself. The graces and favors that she obtains for us come from God, and she is only special because God made her special. He has exalted the humble, and cast down the mighty from their throne. She was a humble handmaid of God, and a housewife, but God created her to have a very special role in our Salvation. Ask Jesus.
Jerry Poeschel We Catholics do follow the Bible in our belief in Mary's role- For one - Christ changes water into wine answering the kind request of his mother who mediates for the family at the wedding of Cana. We DO believe that Mary is only human and needed the blood of Christ to preserve her from sin. Mary did not just give birth to Christ as if she were simply a surrogate mother! Jesus lived under her in obedience for 30 years. Mary was also actively present and involved at the crucifixion and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. I hope you consider your mother's giving birth to you as more than just a "job"; the Mother of Christ is surely worthy of the greatest honour; it's all there in the Scriptures

That one instance is not enough for me to be convinced to pray to Mary. God says there is ONE mediator between God and man, and that is Jesus. Your argument holds no water.

Wil liam does the sect that you belong to believe in the Gospel of Luke or did you remove that too because it didnt fit into your sinfulness? anyway it clearly states in Chapter 1 verse 28 that Mary is completely FULL of grace. no stain of original sin. all grace from God passes through her. you can not seperate the Immaculate Heart of Mary from the Sacred Heart of Jesus. it cant be done. but you cant understand these things, the same way you cant understand scripture.

The Church commands us to admonish the sinners. I am just stating to this heretic what will be the consequence of his/her blasphemies against God, and that punishment is eternal torments. Since, blasphemy is a mortal sin, the punishment for mortal sin is hell. Isn't that what is taught by the Church? I do not declare. I warn. There is a clear distinction.
