That's great idea to include a surface to do the puzzles on!! I've come across other puzzles with coordinates, but had to figure out how to do it in the woods... then flip it!!
Several of our Southern California geocaching group met you at GeoWoodstock. They really enjoyed meeting you. This 5 senses geocache inspired my wife to create a 5 love languages geocache. It's pretty good. She will have it published shortly.

I am wondering, how do you know about these geocaches? Are there reddits or blogs or something I should know about? Or just filter by favorite points? Any advice for a newbie would be so appreciated!
Okay, that IS a pretty awesome cache!! Just as good as your 'Best Geocache Ever'!! So, so cool. Beautiful nature and what a fun experience! Once again, geocaching is already an awesome hobby...but I especially like how you were able to spend some quality time either your kids. That's pure awesomeness squared, they are so lucky to have you as their dad!! :D
