Hi Arthur! The weather in oct is a bit cooler, around low 60s and into 50s F. As for the car rental it depends on where you stay, however renting a car might be better for your pocket. I took several short Uber rides while I was there (7min) and the ride was over $20.

@@arthur1985 Of course, anytime! I did make a reservation for the space needle so that we could show up and go in quicker so I recommend it, however these places weren't packed to the point that you'd miss out if you don't reserve. Either one works to be honest but do make sure on their website to see what they suggest.
