Complimenti a tutti cuele persone che stanno facendo di tutto per tenere invita le nostre tradizioni grazie Ragazzi continuati così grazi vedere cueste cose mi fa sentire sempre di più la nostra Sardita grazie ❤❤
The all female riders (Amazons) go around the small town of Benetutti during an event which happens every autumn (Fall) in that area of Sardinia called Barbagia*, to promote local traditions, food&wine, artisans, local folk music and the local territory in general. Sardinia has a long tradition of horsemanship, which we inherited during the spanish rule of the island that lasted for more than 3 centuries (the sardinian language is in fact a mix of latin and spanish), way way longer than the current italian administration of the island. PS. *Fun fact: The central area of Sardinia called Barbagia, was named so by the old roman empire when they tried (and failed) to subjugate the ancient (pretty rebellious) sardinians living in the mountains surrounded by forests and woods there. Hence the reason for calling them barbarians.
Spettacolare ! ☀️🌹🥂 grazie per la condivisione
