So refreshing to see a video from a female who knows how to fix things. I tell people I fixed my dryer or washer and they look at me like I just grew a 3rd head.
This seems pretty simple, so I'm going to give it a try before I pay the repair guy $100, just to look at my washer. Last time, my lid was stuck and I couldn't open it all the way. He told me to replace the lid would be almost as much as buying a new washer!! I paid him the $100 and then unscrewed the lid myself, pulled out the broken plastic piece that was keeping the lid from closing and have been using it since!! I really don't want to have to call him again if I can fix this myself! Thank you for the info and Ill let you know how it works out!
Thank you for this video! I did this myself for $40 with your help. I'm sure a repair guy would have changed me a couple of hundreds. I'm feeling really accomplished!!!
Thank you so much!! I was so stressed out that I was going to be something that was going to cost a ton of money that I couldn't do myself but after watching your video I totally feel confident that I can do it myself and have chosen to not throw out my washer! 😅 Thank you!
@@donnaleetellsall I actually noticed my Samsung was a little bit different from yours. But I ordered the parts and was able to change it out. Thanks again!!! 😊
See your comment made me so excited to know that I inspire you to fix your machine your self. I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video. Thank you ☺️
@@donnaleetellsall Literally on Monday, the 10th, I replaced my water pressure sensor. Installed myself. The water still does not know when to shut off. I ordered a water inlet valve. I'll replace it when it comes in. If THAT doesn't fix the issue, I'm throwing the machine away.

I have a slightly different washer, but this video was perfect. $20 part and 20 minute fix. Thank you!

Anyway to bypass the door lock so that if one needs to add something to the wash one can without the draining and starting over
Thank you! Very Helpful Info!!
I appreciate you, I'm having this issue now so I'm going to try this.
good job girl
Where is the lock sensor located? Is it attached to to the lid lock assembly part?
It shouldn't have to lock in order to wash. Child safety locks should be an option. This is the absolute worst washer I have ever owned. I hate it!
Thank you very much 👌🏾
Thanks will give this a try
Thanks for the video

Do you have a link to we’re you got it that is what I need
The Amazon link is listed under the video on the description box
Will the washer work if you just take it off and leave it off
That's what I'm here for. I hate that it locks in the first place
Very helpful!!!!!!
How long did your new part work for
The new part last the whole time. It's the one time replacement of the old part with the new part.
Thank you!!!

How can I bypass the door lock? I need to be able to open the door without stopping the wash cycle
Dang mine is acting just 4 months later after I just got it.
Thanks sis.

Thanks DonnaLee!! Mmhmm
Why is the “door lock” light still flashing, at the end of the video?
It pauses on its own and drains
Mhmmmm
This isn't for any person dealing with persons who like to push buttons and start or stop wash cycles. Good luck!
Replaced switch and it still doesn't work.
