Yeah they did implied that Wadress was her passionate project so of course she loves and had high expectations for them. Still the reason they failed lies in syuen for not go all out with upgraded bodis instead of the default ones plus the abilities she provide both of them are quite useless against special rapture like chatter box and heretic in general since all of them have regen and higher pain tolerance than Mihara and yuni ability can only block 1 sense at a time and the subjects I mentioned above does not require all of their senses to kill both of them right on spot.
