They’re really entertaining sometimes. Other times they’re boring. It’s really funny, in mock trial, when two attorneys get over an argument about the answer from a witness and just go back and forth... unless you’re the witness then it sucks bc you’re just saying the exact same thing over and over again.
The genius of this animation was not having the court play along with the mcelroys, that way the court acted as the "straight men" to bounce off the absurd humour
They could just burgle the hotel themselves after they tell on the other person. Perfect crime. Or become a furry, because as we know, they can commit infinite crime
they can make the perfect get away- no one wants to touch a furry, so they can't be caught. Even if another furry is actually a cop, you can distract them with yiffing.
I know this is a goof podcast but I constantly think about the line “if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice” it was rhythmic yes but it also changed my life tbh
Answer: No. They are idiots- they revealed their intentions to a third party so thoroughly that it ended up as an animation of an internet podcast. You don't want to do crimes with idiots. It rarely ends well.
i see people talking about pepe silvia but everyone knows there is no pepe silvia, the real heist is about getting the 15 bucks greg grimadis owes lup. Also another great animation! great job👋👋
2:14 This would've been the perfect section to animate!! I recognize fully that these things likely take a ton of time, especially if on an older machine, but Travis literally said that it was "a more visual one" I feel as though animatics serve the purpose of displaying what the audience cannot see. Either way, I loved this and love your content, great job!
When you work minimum wage, that's the company telling you "We'd pay you less but we legally can't." You owe them NOTHING. Fuck them. Don't actively associate yourself with a crime, cuz that affects you outside the job. That's prison. But you have no responsibility to protect the company's interests. They don't give a shit about you.
my dude i knew i had to make this bit into a video the day i listened to it. But it was SUCH slow going until sunday when the pressure of not having a video out hit and i had to get it gone in like 2 days.
Hi, I love your animated videos, I saw all 28 of them in one go! I was wondering if I could use screenshots of your animation to make incorrect edits? My friend mentioned it'd be funny and I might give it a try if you're okay with it. If no, then thank you anyways for all the effort and time you put in the videos, they're amazing! :D
Listening to them do that gave me the worst idea: imagine Casey Anthony's murder trial but everyday before they'd start they'd have a comedian warm up the crowd
hi! okay, this is a question with a long answer! haha so my first few videos were made with iMovie and Google Drive Drawing (basically Paint) i then moved on to Premiere Pro and Google Drive Drawing then i started incorporating After Effects, And now my work flow is this: Draw in Adobe Illustrator, Edit in Premiere Pro with additional effects done in After Effects. That seems like alot, but my two highest viewed videos were made with iMovie and Google Drive Drawing, so it really doesnt matter what software you use!
Now let's talk about the mail. Can we talk about the mail please, Mac? I've been dying to talk about the mail with you all day, okay? Pepe Silvia, this name keeps comin' up over and over and over again. Every day Pepe's mail's getting sent back to me. Pepe Silvia, Pepe Silvia, I look in the mail, this whole box is Pepe Silvia! So I say to myself I gotta find this guy. I gotta go up to his office, I gotta put his mail in the guy's goddamn hands! Otherwise he's never gonna get it, it's gonna keep coming back down here. So I go up to Pepe's office and what do I find out, Mac, what do I find out? There is no Pepe Silvia. The man does not exist, okay? So I decided, ohh shit, buddy, I gotta dig a little deeper. There's no Pepe Silvia, you gotta be kidding me, I got boxes full of Pepe! All right, so I start marching my way down to Carol in H.R. and I knock on her door and I say, "Caaarol, Caaarol! I gotta talk to you about Pepe!" And when I open the door, what do I find? There's not a single goddamn desk in that office. There is no Carol in H.R. Mac, half the employees in this building have been made up. This office is a goddamn ghost town.
Tag yourself, I'm the email from Torsey the Torso Horse
i'm Dad
I'm the stenographer who doesn't get paid enough for this
i'm big ass fart
chloe lambert thank u for ur contribution
i'm pepe silvia
This is one of the first times I've actually been interested in attending a court session
Lmao

Phoenix wright is the only other time
99% of court is boring. Every now and then though, you get one that is bonkers and those are always fun.
The genius of this animation was not having the court play along with the mcelroys, that way the court acted as the "straight men" to bounce off the absurd humour
Thanks! :D
@@FraserConnell brilliant job man!
“We accept emeralds” the McElroys are Minecraft villagers
Honestly, not surprised. I mean they both live in houses
They're echidnas of the Knuckles tribe.
"the clues where here the entire time"
They don't *not* sound like villagers

???? I don't think you get the reference
Counterpoint: being a furry makes you super vulnerable to spray bottles... Choose wisely
Jonathan Sicoli Counter Counter point: If you were a furry you could yiff the gaurds and steal the money while they are distracted
Gabe Skidmore Right, but as a human I get +1 SP per level, which is essential to me as a rogue.
That tear during the juicy turd bit is pure genius
i hope 2019 you is happy about that series of words you once typed and i just read. that's in there, now
The way Griffin pronounces Deez Nuts has me losing it
I know this is a goof podcast but I constantly think about the line “if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice” it was rhythmic yes but it also changed my life tbh
Fun-fact, that's actually originally a line from a Rush song called "Freewill"! :)

@@pixi7633 An excellent song from an excellent album.

Lemeres as always, the real advice is in the comments
goddamn im a real big snitch arent i
Yes, but you present some delightful evidence for trial, so you get appreciation from the jury at least.
@Joseph Delahunty theyre the one with the very obvious alibi so that their buddies can get away with the devious crime
Ocean's 1
this WikiHow-ass opening made me fall over laughing
The more I hear this bit the more I love the quote “it’s fun you didn’t help the person and you didn’t help the show”
“if you choose not to decide, you have still made a choice” well someone’s been listening to into the woods, huh
Or Rush
Man, I just heard the news about Neil Purt yesterday. RIP, but I’ve been listening to tons of Rush again as a result
lyricperson24 Or Rush, you philistine.
That was brilliant and rhythmic
This is one of my favorite bits from the last couple months.
as soon as i heard this bit i knew it HAD to become a fraser connell animation
oh youuuu! you're too kind :p
i see people talking about pepe silvia but everyone knows there is no pepe silvia, the real heist is about getting the 15 bucks greg grimadis owes lup. Also another great animation! great job👋👋
yesssssss i was going for that exact TAZ reference :p
This animation is brilliant and rhythmic
Justin, I appreciate the Rush reference very much.
i will choose freewill
YES YES YES! I hoped you would animate this bit! Loved Charlie as the detective.
thank you Sarah!! :D i always appreciate you watching! :D
I will choose the path that's real; I will choose free will!
... Which means getting in on that sweet hotel heist
The thought of the guys faces' if they ever had to actually listen back to this in court is killing me
if you choose
not to de
cide
you still have made
a choice
Let's not Rush to conclusions, now...
David DeLara i love it
That was brilliant and rhythmic.
"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."
Right at the end there but “brilliant and rhythmic” is also how I’d describe myself
That "YUP YUP!" at the beginning!! Haha omg
I always appreciate a good Rush reference. Thank you.
Pls never stop making these, you're the best, and these give me so much joy haha.

It being just the audio, because the podcast is audio, is what makes it funny. The stenographer refusing to play along makes the animation funny.
I’m living for Justin’s Rush reference
i was 100% expecting one of them to say "everybody in the court get low" but... they didn't.. maybe it's for the best honestly
I was not expecting the Pepe Silvia 🤣
What the fuck is up with Justin always just casually dropping these statements of like genuinely really profound wisdom.
So glad you animated this bit, I was cracking up the whole time listening to it.
I can't tell if Justin's "hey everyone close your eyes" on a purely sound based podcast was a joke.
I worry for myself
Sunny and MBMBAM in the same video?! I love this video!
I love that Greg Grimaldis is on the cork board xD
Thinking back to John Mulaney's joke about having something he said read back to him in court.
Oh god I was drinking sparkling water when he went "Exhibit D: DEEZ NUTS" and now my nostrils are clean as fuck.
this is my favorite animation of yours! great job!!:)
:O thank you!!
justin is pepe silvia

YOU STILL HAVE MADE A CHOICE
I WILL CHOOSE THE PATH THATS CLEAR. I WILL CHOOSE FREE WILL!!!
🎸🎸🎸🎸
Nice rush reference there at the end
I love this channel so much
Griffin made us wait 4 years for it but Montrose DOES THE CLOSE YOUR EYES THING during the Gutter City Heist. What a CALLBACK sir.
This story always makes me smile
the boombox looks like Beartato and i love it
hot dang i love Beartato
I love all the references in their inbox!
I lost my MIND at that Pepe Silvia insert
CAROL? CAROL???
I GOTTA TALK TO YOU ABOUT THIS HOTEL HEIST, CAROL
I listened to this today, now i get to watch it amd im so happy.
The radio animation 👌 good stuff
Excellent animation! You did great!
1:41 Griffin's delivery is great here
“I got you all, you fucking, court room dumb dumbs!” I’ve never heard such an aggressive playground insult 😂
Imagine going to court, because you were selected as a juror, and you see the fucking McElroy brothers brought to the stand as witnesses.
I said immediatly when I first heard this, I couldn't wait for the animated so thank you
There's no Pepe Silvia!!
Carol! Carol! I gotta talk to you about Pepe.
This is great :)
I would like to see an animation of "damn girl, you got me dyin"
Brennan Lee Mulligan heard this and instantly was like “I just had the best campaign idea”
Griffins tone on deez nutz made me fucking spill my drink damnit mcelroys
this is perfect, except sadly, we don't have lawyers in ireland lol
i can’t believe i just found this clip i love it so much
This is so top-tier 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I saw that Amelie reference and I appreciate it
T his fuckinv artstyle is n early funnier than the actual bit and this bit is HILARIOUS SO!!
Hot damn this was so fast!

That’s actually a thing
Greg Grimaldis
love this dum dum podcast
So glad animator doesn't know where Dublin is
As much as I love this, Why they gotta be so mean to Travis at the end. Honestly his was good advice, ignorance (even the feigned kind) is bliss =P

I would love to be in that court room
I've wanted to try my hand at making something like this. What program did you use?
hi! okay, this is a question with a long answer! haha
so my first few videos were made with iMovie and Google Drive Drawing (basically Paint)

If I commit any crime worth being tried for I'm claiming this video told be to do it so I can hear it played in court
Travis' joke was so bad that the video took a minute to buffer.
Wtf my birth name is on one of those emails.
I would like to be on this jury panel, please
could you imagine @legaleagle analyzing this podcast? dear god
Omfggggg
episode number?
413 :)
thanks!
but... there are 7 chaos emeralds :/
eggman has the rest
Obama has a few

My Hero Acadeadpool
All the pins were pointing to Offaly, a county in Ireland that is definitely not in Dublin. Dublin is where I’m from.
In fairness, This is Charlie we're talking about. I'm impressed he even got the right country.
don't do crimes
The brothers have such Christian dad meets chaotic neutral vibes
Them quoting Rush at the end 110% proves my point
That's good.. you didn't help the person, and you didn't help the show.
